Members EnglishTea
Cast could be called in earlier (in pre-production) than filming for wardrobe fittings, hair/make-up, and lighting tests. Contract cast can also be called in for screen tests with new (and re-cast) talents, so that the show can make final selections.
Members Vee
Look, I'm just saying what I've always said, I'll only believe it when the cameras roll and something starts airing.
Members EnglishTea
I agree. It just seems some people on the board don't totally get pre-production, and there are numerous reasons actors can be working prior to filming.
Members Vee
I understand the pre-production process, but I've taken a lot of static and confusion from this outfit before. I want to believe, but I need physical proof this time.
Members EnglishTea
I didn't mean you in particular. I agree that until something airs, nothing is definite, and even then, it might still not work out. Others seems confused as to the dates (which also could be changing around a bit), I'm just saying there are many reasons why the actors might be there prior to filming, and pre-production encapsulates many features and factors, and meets the requirements of the contract with Disney/ABCD. Members John
English Tea so all PP needs to do is pre prod by February? If thats the case they have already met their lease agreement with ABC
Members EnglishTea
ABCD/Disney may have certain stipulations that have to be met, but reasonably speaking, if the production office is up and running, casting is underway, writers are writing, sets are being built, wardrobe purchases/fitting are taking place - in any other world of production - the shows would be considered in pre-production, which is under the umbrella of production. Members EricMontreal22
I think--oddly--the only claim was AMC would start production in Feb, wasn't it? I can't keep this straight at all.

Members John
PP can be shady but couldnt FOZ have been fired cause of something he did or could it be as simple as once they knew Hulu was a go they didnt need him, since HULU probably would cover what his duties woulda been at TOLN
