HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

TV series.

They've got a lot of 'em but too few offer the subbed option, and subbed is the only way I bother with Japanese animation - though I don't watch very many at all anymore.

As for me: 42", with 3-D. Suck it.

I've a 42 with 3-D (though only one 3-D disc...) as well.

Yeah, I got into anime when all of the series I wanted to watch you had to get in fansub trades--so even though apparently many dubs have improved since back then in the early 90s, it still feels wrong to me (but I don't follow many anymore...). That's too bad though--with something like Hulu it should be easy to offer it dubed or subed.

That terrifies me on so many levels.

But, poor Nelson is in Canada! How will he watch?? tongue.png

Since Nelson has all the intel, one of us should go over to his twitter and ask him about Canadian viewing options.

I nominate Errol.

They do have Eden of the East subbed, which was great, and all 70something episodes of Monster, which is a slow but rewarding process.

I just hope they will allow you to watch the shows on HULU TV since a lot of shows are not viewable on the TV

Errol would you like Jean to put Nelson and Jamey in the Secret Room?

I've always thought it would be nice if the shows struck a deal with iTunes, I would like the option of buying/keeping episodes that aren't shittyass YouTube copies or DVR

Off Topic question

I am watching the Richard Fields AMC story on YT. Was Erica raped off camera in 1970 or was she raped before it aired in January of that year or in 1969?

I love Jean! More sane than Niki (and more tolerable).

Anyone purchase DAYS episodes on iTunes? The show's been available on there for about five years and it's quite cheap for a season pass.

Erica was raped before the drama picked up on 1/5/70. She didn't visit her father during the early years of AMC and wasn't reunited with him until the Barney the Clown story in '89.

By the way, I never saw it reported anywhere, but Albert Stratton who played Eric passed away over a year ago. I saw his name listed in the "In Memory of" section of the Equity newsletter.

Jean, please join us in the AMC Tribute thread if you have more questions.

Quick Question, since PP have the rights to original OLTL/ AMC characters..I wonder how Skye factors into all of this.
