I'm assuming he means Branco and Giddens. It's disappointing that even many of those in the soap press can't help but look like the same psychotic idiots the networks made fun of while cancelling the soaps. IMO, Errol, you're going about this the right way. Keepin' it classy. I respect you a lot for that :)

As for MMP's DAYS, she had a year of wandering stories that looked like they had potential then were either shelved for months, then magically resolved in one episode (see: Victor stealing Maggie's eggs to give to the Jonases, and the website gambling fiasco); stories that got shelved way too quickly just as the drama was snowballing (Crazy Abby fakes sleeping with Austin), or stories that moved nowhere for months at a time but were still on every day (EJ/Will and Will's endless mommy issues, Hope & John in Alamania).

It was all just a giant, endless mess. Unpleasant to watch and stank heavily of network interference. I really hope she's better without the network's hand in the pie, but I'm not sure I'm willing to hold my breath.

You know, in hindsight. If you're worth someone talking about you for an hour on Twitter.... You must have done something right, while grabbing a hit and a dollar from said person. Just the mere fact you are worth discussion (same can be said vice-versa, sadly), means you hit a nerve somewhere.

I'm over it. In reality, I know what I do for this site is one of my biggest passions. However, it isn't my first and only priority. I've given nearly 11 years of my life to this site and I've sacrificed life's expectations as a result. I'm turning 29 in less than 2 weeks, and I'm finally enjoying the life I was meant to lead. I won't let someone's childish twitter tirade break me down. They can spout whatever bull they want for their followers to eat up, and twist things around to their choosing, so I hope they enjoy it. I know who I'll be having beers with this weekend, and if they let me, I'll be able to school them on how things have changed in a certain town on a certain soap they say they know all about. How's that for a "source"?

Why is everyone so up in arms over this? OLTL has been off the air for more than a year. We don't know what's happened to the characters or what their current motivations are. All this complaining is quite premature, IMO. How about we wait to see how the story plays out before calling it stereotypical garbage?
