HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

The show really isn't any good though, lol.

Which sadly doesn't matter :P

Plus if Agnes Nixon does have even a bit of control there's no way he'd get hired (yes, I know that's a big if).

So, They're saying April for OLTL.

When for AMC?

I thought you had forgotten AMC... :P

I guess my comment went over the heads of most here...

I would say something to this but I am afraid it is not for this board.tongue.png

You talking to me or Errol?

No, Vee, I was talking to Errol at the moment. Sorry if I confused you or anyone else.

There was another nugget in there, just to be clear. But I hear ya. I shouldn't tease. I should write and make the bucks doing it, lol.

Well, I'm glad you are thick-skinned enough not to take my words too much to heart. I was not attempting in any way to attack you. I just found the whole situation frustrating. Most of us are hungry enough for facts without placing a veil of secrecy over everything.

Throwing this out there, but what do people think of Frederick Johnson as a writer?

I think he'd be okay. He worked closely with Jeff Beldner, Hal Corley and Michelle Patrick on the Michael Delaney story.

It's a better opening line than "hi, you dumb [!@#$%^&*]!"

Actually, given the circumstances, I'd prefer that over "soap fans".

Now if I thought you were attacking me, I'd of kicked your ass. LOL. But I don't like fighting as it doesn't solve anything. Believe me though, if you're frustrated imagine me knowing crap and not being able to say it. The only way I can at least feel good about knowing something is to tease it. Otherwise, I'll scream and shoot my mouth off. Can't do that or I'd be out of the business faster than Digest can say "Your #1 Soap Opera Source" (or whatever that thing says).

Yeah he's written a lot of breakdown and associate HW work, so it can be hard to tell, but it might be interesting to see what he can do as a HW on the show ;)

Why no SJB?

Because I've witnessed enough flame wars over that woman to last me this lifetime and part of the next. Sarah J. Brown needs to transition permanently to other work or just give up and, I don't know, become an agent or something.
