Just watched Mary Stevens MD from 1933 and starring Kay Francis, who was Warner Brothers biggest female star until Bette Davis usurped her.

Very enjoyable.A lot packed into 75 minutes.

Olivia DeHaviland turns 100 this week and in honor of her TCM is having a marathon, but the cream of the crop, the double feature to end all double Olivia double features is friday night

 


GONE WITH THE WIND (1939) – 9:15 p.m.
THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD (1938) – 1:15 a.m. Saturday

Today marks the 100th birthday of Olivia de Havilland. One of the last from Hollywood's golden age. I think we all wish her a happy birthday.  :wub:

Olivia broke the back of the studio system (it likely would have happened anyway, but she was the one who did it). It's fitting that so many are gone but she's still here.
