Remembering his reaction to the news of Vivian's death, I find it hard to believe Robert did it. It is probably more complicated. In any case, this is it.

I loved Julian proudly introducing Joanna to Will as his girlfriend and awkwardness that ensured. LOL! She and Julian were adorable making out at the end. They love each other. I am sure that they would work things out when the truth about her being a cop came out.

So in the end, Edward is his father's son. Where else would he go other than back home?

I cannot believe that Mia went back with that annoying guy. That Wyatt guy is a loon. Messing with Sophia is one thing, but who on earth would want to tangle with Robert with all that money and power?

If they are given another season then Robert would probably not turn out to be Vivian's killer unless by accident. They'd probably reveal that he was covering for someone. Had he answered the question about why he did it then I would believe they meant it. They just showed a bunch of scenes to make it seem that way but they can easily extend those scenes to give them all a different spin and/or sequence (specifically the one where Vivian asked to speak to him).

In the prior episode when Joanna's mother was lucid, it was implied that she killed Katherine. That scene with Julian implied otherwise and that's one of those instances where they can spin that scene differently by blaming it on her Alzheimer's or being more specific about how she was "dead" before she got in the car. It doesn't have to negate Robert being a monster because he did profit from her death.

Basically Robert as "the killer" allows them to keep the whole cast intact (minus Samantha) because Joanna will still need to stay there to gather evidence. They cleverly elevated Haverstock to AG as a reason to keep him around "running" the investigattion. Of course, none of it makes any jurisdictional or procedural sense. Vivian's murder is no federal case and it appears that Will forgot that he was trying to get the Bowers on federal issues (seucrites fraud or whatever). Instead Audrey Cruz ends up part of some corporate takeover scheme and the Russian mob is involved but it's still not clear who is behind them and why Edward is their target.

So Will can find Sam's killer that easily. They must have had something linking him to the shooting but stupidity/one-track writing prevails and he's idiotically placed in a line-up for Edward (who was not present at the crime scene). Then based on his unwillingness to identify the man, they let him go--even though something tangible had to have led them to him in the first place.

How does the all knowing Haverstock not know that "sparky" is a dirty cop. That was sort of funny in that he was quick to reveal that Joanna's sleeping with Julian to disqualify her when he's in Robert's pocket. They tried to make Robert seem all creepy with Joanna as if he knows and she's doomed.

Robert wouldn't be Wyatt's real problem....it would be Haverstock and Wyatt would be dead early into a second season, if they have one.

But Wyatt does not know about Haverstock, he does know about Robert's wealth and power so why on earth would he as a ex-con kidnap, Mia? It is pure crazy. The end for Wyatt taking this ridiculous course of action is death or prison.

You're right. He doesn't know about Haverstock but of course Haverstock knows about him. He's a two-bit criminal obsessed with Sophia so it's not as if anything but Robert's money would factor in to his thinking. Robert doesn't seem to be that great when it comes to non-blue collar crime otherwise Haverstock would have been dead.

      My only memory is that she shaded Ed Scott for contributing to her rift with Melody. I can't recall her naming anyone else. Who else did she name? I wish in those memoirs the actors would talk more about their storylines, actors they worked with etc.

      Totally different scenario. Wayne chose to leave, the character was killed off. Many months later,John appeared-plastic surgery was mentioned , he had amnesia etc. It wasn't like Drake was on the day after Wayne left. I'm still adjusting to Nu Ted .He doesn't have the physicality/presence of Maurice. And if they weren't happy with the actor nor bringing it, Martin, Derek and Tomas would be out also.

      They've added Billy's house. But we don't see 6 or seven sets per episode. Instead it's CL,GCAC,Society and Jazz Lounge everyday and if we're lucky a home or office set. So many characters don't have a home or workplace. And I think they could be clever and use a basic set as an office for different characters. eg hide a window with a bookcase, move a new desk to a different position, new furniture, artwork etc . But I guess that requires a crew and that isn't in the budget.

      Natalia is back. GH is becoming ff material once again. It's a shame they can't keep up the momentum they had two weeks ago. Lucky is a loser and so is Frank.

      I wouldn't say Y&R has the smallest budget, nor would I say DAYS has more sets. Y&R has been adding more sets⏤which is great, given their lack of an overnight set crew⏤and they're not the same set re-dressed as something else (like DAYS historically has been doing for years).

      That’s exactly it. Entire episodes are just two people sitting in a restaurant yammering on about CEO’s or getting coffee in the middle of the night at the always empty Crimson Lights. Where did I say anything that’s wrong?

      Anita got over being sad and guilty like whiplash. I guess she just needed a Vernon pep talk. Yeah I’m sorry I don’t see the chemistry with nu-Ted and Nicole at all. When Maurice was in the role you could truly feel they loved each other so much and couldn’t keep their hands off each other. I just don’t see this meek at portrayal giving any sort of chemistry. Couldn’t have said it better myself. I wonder how people felt in the 80’s when Drake replaced Wayne as Roman.

      No question that DAYS has the lowest budget of all the soaps. The only way to overcome that is with good writing, which we are getting on DAYS as of late. More movement? I have to agree. DAYS just feels like it has more energy and actual physical movement among the characters. Scene after scene on Y&R is with two characters sitting at a restaurant table or on a couch having a conversation. It's static -- and it's lazy.

      JC memoirs Not Young Still Restless she writes negatively about some people. VR memoirs The Women Who Raised Me from what I remember did not really delve into her time on Y&R. VR "novels" Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva and The Young and the Ruthless: Back in the Bubbles its pretty clear who some of the characters are based on.

      -- I agree that they've taken Leslie's camp as far as they can take it. That works only if there's also a real character there, and we're not seeing that. Every scene with her is game-playing. -- Laura couldn't call IT to have that Notes program straightened out? I get it -- we need to see that Eva is desperately needed, even though she was hired with nothing on her resume that told us she was a tech wiz. But the only person Laura could think of to call was Eva??? -- I would feel more sympathetic to Eva if she didn't continue to cover for her mother, essentially playing both sides. Again, I get it -- we need to see a daughter traumatized by a lifetime of control by her nutjob mother. Still, there's nothing about Leslie that Eva should side with at this point. -- I had to LOL when Anita said she has to call her agent to call off the reunion concert. Huh??? You mean a concert was planned and scheduled even though we haven't heard these three sing a single damn note together?  -- Are we supposed to be taking Anita's side in this Anita vs Sharon battle? Because I'm not there. One day Anita is sad, despondent, and regretful, and the next she's firing back at Sharon and Tracy that "You two are as much to blame as I am."  -- I agree that we need to see the help hired by the wealthy on this show. It's a missed opportunity. -- I continue to like Keith D Robinson as Ted. I think he has more chemistry with Daphnee Duplaix than Maurice Johnson did.
