And this is a shock? Since SOD only showed three soaps as a rule (DAYS, Y&R and GH), I'm surprised there aren't more. I don't have statistics, but Eric Braeden has to bethe king of SOD covers. It seems like every other week we see that same sour puss glaring from the checkout counters.

I didn't know Peck was on that many covers. Of course, being on the cover doesn't mean a lot now, since they mostly just use stock photos.

I think the editor said that the Y&R covers sell the best so Braden being on 200 covers would not shock me.I suspect Stafford, Morrow, and Case have a high number also.

You have to wonder how many of the Sweeney photos are small screencaps in a collage of 10 other soap stars. Hall comes from an era of photo shoots, where you probably shared your cover with a single other actor.

Im kind of shocked its that low, with what, 52 magazines a year, shes been in the game for nearly 20, front burner practically the entire time.

That was my thought. These days, you'll see literally a dozen people's faces on a SOD cover, but none are from a "photo shoot."

SOD did a photoshoot for Ali/James a few years back, its one of the last ones I can remember them doing.
