Lol the boy band that was Jesse Mcartney's real life boyband on AMC. Lol it was so funny to see him come back to the soap playing himself singing at his "sister's" birthday party!

I don't care, I loved that Chloe/Brady scene. I especially liked that he started in acapella.

complete with the mom jeans! LOL. I would say

Karen = Brenda

Jagger = Dylan

Robin = Donna

Brenda = Kelly

AJ = Steve

Jason = Brandon

Wow, surprised I never noticed before

Actually, I'd have to go with

Brenda= Brenda

Kelly= Karen

Brenda was the vixen in the Karen/Jagger/Brenda storyline, and even though Kelly/Dylan were the cheaters, she was always more the Mary Sue, much like Karen.

And I have to :lol: :lol: :lol: at Mary Sue turning into the 2012 SON catch phrase! The whole board is using it since that thread, myself included! :D

Days-

1. I am going to say Austin/Sami/Carrie/Lucas, but thats odd to me because they never felt like a teen scene, and thats why they are number one IMHO. They were written as good as the adults, they had adult stories that worked for them as a younger set. I hate it when the show focus' in on highschool and becomes an afterschool special. And the fact that all 4 are still around today, played by the same actors, is telling (even if Sami is the only consistant, non recasted one).

2 and 3 is a toss up for me, based on writing and impact on other stories it would be the Saved by the Belle crew, but the actors in the Chelsea/Steph/Morgan set were much better and were also better woven into the show and not so isolated.

I loved how Sami/Austin/Carrie/Lucas never felt like teens. They all had a mature look and mature attitudes. Definitely my favorite teen scene too, with the Saved by the Belle crowd of 2000-2002 being choice #2.

From what I've read and heard (since I stopped watching 90210 when Brenda left), Kelly didn't become a Mary Sue until the post-Brenda years. The memories that I have about Kelly are of the spoiled rich bitch who was worldlier - much like how they introduced Brenda Barrett to GH.

Karen, from what I remember, was set up to be Jagger's true blue love - much like Brenda (Walsh) was with Dylan before producers started to take their pissitivity towards Shannen out on poor Brenda.

Easily for me it's the Salem teen scene with Shawn D, Belle, Philip , Chloe, and Meems.

I remember being so excited about rumors that they were going to do a Saturday morning Salem high spin-off.

Remember this one when Chole and Brady sang "16 going on 17". Salem teen scene was entertaining! I miss Classic Shelle!

I loved that clip. Didn't they also sing My Favorite Things? I remember being in heaven as a huge Sound of Music fan. I also remember Phloe/Broe being the only time I totally switched allegiances in a triangle. I was all about Phloe but completely switched ships almost the second Brady arrived and they had that scene where he was dressed like Zorro. I liked the beginning of Shelle but then they got a little too syrupy. And I haaaaated her awful gold pantsuit at one of the (many) Last Blasts.

Let's not even talk about the guy who looked like he was punched in the face who played Billy for like a week

Scott Seymour was worse than Yvonne Zima. :lol:

because of how Jill was written as their big nemesis.

You always say this but it never makes any sense.

Jill was mostly written at that time as needing to break them up, the threat to their love, Billy's burden, and so on.

The AMC group of Laura/Scott/Bobby/Anita/Kelsey/Kevin had a lot of potential and propelled quite a bit of the show around late '95/early '96, but the writers seemed to be lost as to what to do with them after Kevin's brother shot Laurel. Once FMB left and Francesca James replaced Shane McDermott with Daniel Cosgrove, the whole group was fairly backburnered and all were gone by '98.

Brenda came on 90210 as the lead heroine and one we were to root for, kinda like Karen was on GH. Kelly was rich, spoiled, materialistic and shared alot of qualities with GH's Brenda. I see GH'S Brenda as a mix of BH's Brenda and Kelly, but I really dont see Karen as being much like Kelly at all. She was more of an early Brenda type

Everyone says the Billy before Miller ruined the character. Was that this Scott person?

Who is everyone? The Billy before Miller was only on for like 4 months and only came on for John's funeral and did nothing besides a very quick gambling storyline. I hardly see how he ruined the character.
