I think she would've been fine as Nancy. She isn't the WORST actress in the world, although she probably would've looked like a lightweight next to the rest of the cast. But I do think her Nancy would've been a more playful and comedic than Meredith Baxter Birney's.

I don't care what the scientific community says about DID, or how "unnatural" Victor Lord's relationships with his daughters came across to certain viewers over the years. I will go to my grave insisting Michael Malone and Susan Bedsow Horgan (among others) did that man wrong.

It's hard to celebrate any anniversary of this show w/o David Doyle or Farrah Fawcett. But I hope Kate Jackson and Cheryl Ladd have managed to set aside their differences. It's been 50 years, ladies, give or take a few. Who knows how much longer any of us have on this mortal coil?

Tomas is GONE from the opening. The show went to great lengths to disguise that he's gone, by moving everyone else around except Anita, Vernon, Beautiful, and Dani -- but Tomas is nowhere to be found.

Sigh--Carolyn Ann Clark--about the most reluctant 'ho I've seen on a soap.
There should be honorary emmys for those actors who have withstood the scenery chewing of La Zimmer and lived to tell the tale.
Honestly, I don't think Marland created a great, sustainable villain. There are short term ones like Doug Cummings and Henry Lange.
