I'll go first:

B&B

- While not perfect, the show is currently in the best shape it's been in since 2003.

Y&R

- Genie Francis is terrific as Genevieve Atkinson. I know she wasn't well liked in her first few months on her show, but I'm currently watching June 2011 episodes and I LOVE her campy take on the character, despite the overall wretchedness of the storyline. Although I never saw Francis on GH, so I don't have that to compare it to. I'd love to see her on B&B in a Sally Spectra/Jackie Marone type role.

- Phyllis is one of very few characters to actually flourish under MAB (save for the Lucy custody madness). And of course, I still consider La Stafford to be the best actress in daytime.

- Maura West was AT LEAST as miscast as Diane as Shari Shattuck was as Ashley.

I agree. Watching NEM and there campiness made me tune out and neither were fit to be leads which they basically were for a few years, The Cassadine crap was tiring and pointless,Skye was much better on AMC than GH.

As much as I am not a Tyler fan I don't think he or anyone else front burner in the past 10 years were any worse than Maurice or Steve or The never ending parade of the last 3 Carly's along with Jonathan Jackson his 2 years back on GH. In JJs defense at least he never looked bored like mo or Steve have.

His face has looked like sh!t in recent years. The eye bags were often the most interesting thing about him onscreen.

I guess mileage varies because I think he looked fine. His acting, on the other hand, sucked.

I don't think Lindsay Hartley is anythnig special as an actress and I'm tired of her getting cast in minority roles over actual minorities. She's Greek/Italian not Mexican and I don't buy her as Mexican. Would also like to say she only got that Smallville role because of her hubby.

And eyeliner does not equal angst. I really don't care how good of a crier she is.

GG's another one with his bushy eyebrowed self who needs to stop being cast in roles as Latino when he's Jewish especially when his atttitude about it is, well it pays the bills.

Kemo looks busted with that horrid overtaned wrinkled skin and heavy bags. She looks 10 years older than she is in real life. Also there is nothnig there acting wise.

I don't get the Lexi Ainsworth hype. What makes her whiny and crying amazing acting unlike the other teens? Seriously? Cuz that's all she did in the role. She whined in the most annoying screechy voice and cried everytime she was supposed to show emotion. And she had so many noticeable ticks some of which were the exact ones that people claimed they hated with NL. She also isn't that pretty either.

Not unpopular with me at all, as he shouldn't have existed in the first place. I'd have preferred that he was no one's son so that he could be erased from existence, but, hey, beggars can't be choosers.

I don't know if this is unpopular or not, but on GH I think the guy who plays Dante and the guy who plays Johnny look entirely too old for the parts they're playing. I am assuming, given who their parents are, that both characters are supposed to be early/mid 20s, I see at least early 30s.

I think this opinion is going to be pretty unpopular, but I'll say it. I don't understand the issue with Sonny, Jason and Carly. I'm a casual viewer of GH, so maybe that's why they don't bother me all that much. Anyway I am curious as to why Sonny, Jason and Carly seem to upset so many fans. Is it because the mob should be the villians, yet Sonny and Jason are portrayed as heroes? Is it because GH's mob is the wussiest mob on the planet? I guess I'm trying to figure out why Sonny and Jason are bad, but Victor Newman, Todd Manning, and Stefano and EJ Dimera are okay.

Stefano is a villain. A villain with a heart (sometimes), but always treated as a villain.

Todd makes me sick.

Victor was a multi-layered character for quite a few years. Then he became some type of bizarre stud. Now he's a joke, the Donald Trump of Genoa City.

I think the main reason many are sick of Jason and Sonny is because Burton and Benard are so damn bad. They are not attractive (in my opinion), they have no charisma. Beyond that, Jason and Sonny have had the same story over and over and over again. It's always the same story, and it always sucks. I've heard people say - oh look how things have changed, John can insult Sonny! People have always insulted Sonny. That's never the issue. The issue is that Sonny is always the victim, even when he shoots his son in the chest.

I think Johnny looks fine but yes, Dante looks 15 years too old for his role. He also has no chemistry with anyone on the show. Dead wood.

Unlike Sonny (who attributes the sh*t he does to his stepfather locking him in the closet) or Jasus (who never gets called out for his assholery), Todd has never forgiven himself for what he did to Marty twenty years ago and his constant fuckups are a manifestation of that, as he doesn't believe that he has the right to experience pure happiness in spite of what his family has told him.

As for why the Trifecta of Suck are loathed? In addition to having viable character being thrown under the bus to prop their worthless asses, they haven't lost at anything in years. They are one of the main reasons why plenty of people have tuned out and regard GH as the walking dead.

With that said, there was a time when Sonny and Jason were both likable characters. (Shocking to some, I know.) IMO, Sonny was that character during the 90s when they wrote him with layers and allowed him to suffer the consequences of the lifestyle that he chose to lead (consequences that motivated him to do the things that he did). As for Jason, he hasn't been likable since he was a reindeer-sweater-wearing Quartermaine and went south once they gave him that irreversible brain injury.

If you're curious to know when each guy went from likable to loathsome, look no further than the Slagbeast, as everything she has touched has turned to stir-fried sh*t since she infected this show.

Johnny and Dante were playnig the actors actual ages of early 30s last year and then they decided to bring them back down to 20s, though late 20s to make Claudia Johnny's mother( while BB is looknig his oldest with facial hair!)

Since when was Dante ever in his 30s? Look at his mother for goodness sakes she looks in her late 30s. He was brought on specifically to pair with LuLu who in herself is the biggest chemistry void on GH over the last 15 years. He's an unremarkable actor and character with no charisma.

Why on earth do those years not count? If that's the case we can turn the clock back on GH 15 years when Sonny was actually viewed and written as scum.

1. The only time that Sonny made references to Deke early in his run was in relation to his resentment of his biological father abandoning the family. He never used his childhood abuse as a crutch as to why he shouldn't be doing any jail time. Every time he was faced with jail back then, he made it clear that he just didn't want to lose his freedom and everything he had by going there. Nowadays, it's all about being Deke locking him in a closet or similar bullcaca.

2. Todd has never expected the world to feel sorry for him for his abuse. As a matter of fact, in spite of the loving family that he does have, a part of him still believes that he isn't worthy enough to be loved or accepted (as recently indicated by the 50-11 Irene hallucinations). Aside from members of his family, everyone is allowed to and does hate Todd consistently - which is more than I can say for Sonny (or Jasus).
