So I heard so much buzz about the slap I decided to watch. Abby is a weak ass b-tch! All that mess she's been talking for YEARS. Kelly slaps this ho and she does nothing but grit her teeth. WTF? It would have been a knock down drag out. Abby's big behind could have at least sat on her. SMH.

The official video of Sia's latest single starring Maddie as little Sia. Maddie's kind of obnoxious but not as obnoxious as Abby's OTT love for her, that said she really is talented.

Agreed. Her last episode showed how toxic and uncomfortable the whole situation must be behind the scenes. Everyone looked miserable.

The only thing I like is how Christi could literally give two f*cks anymore. I loved when Abby was goading her to get a reaction and Christi was so calm but fabulously icy. And then blew air at Abby's face. I feel bad for her. She must be counting down the days til her Lifetime contract expires.

Wasn't the Kelly vs. Abby court case supposed to happen by now ? Haven't heard a peep.

Anyone still watching Dance Moms?

Judging by the ratings this past season, I'm guessing no? They're usually around 1.4 - 1.7 million. They used to be at 2+ million. This season just seems pointless. Now that Christi & Chloe are gone, we keep getting endless "guest stars" of moms & daughters coming in and out of the studio.

I don't get this idea that Abby is Maddie, Mackenzie, Nia, etc's "manager". She's their dance teacher. Why would she be their acting/singing talent manager? Makes no sense. Everything is so contrived.

When Abby and all of them were in L.A., Abby seemed so checked out of doing this show, and then seemed to be unraveling like she was about to have a breakdown at any moment. I'm wondering if Lifetime is going to cut ties soon. The dance competition did not return for a third season this past fall, that dance studio makeover show (basically a "Tabatha Takes Over" ripoff) came & went and came & went again without any fanfare or notice.

Maddie and her family have definitely benefited from the exposure of this show; do they need Abby anymore?

Is this the end?

My DVR is set to record all new Dance Moms episodes, so it keeps picking up these "special" episodes they air of the girls discussing random stuff. I don't bother watching any of it, but I'm guessing Lifetime is testing to see how well it's received so they can go it alone next year without Abby Lee Miller on the show?

    • I was incredibly moved by these scenes, especially Peter's performance. It felt so tender and real, especially when you remember Bo just got out of a years-long coma and wasn't going to be able to put up a front. You're reminded of how long these legends have populated the show when you have a 70 year old man grieving men who were almost 90 or 100, but Bo's response to Victor's death was a poignant reminder of how fresh these wounds are no matter your age. Normally these types of moments don't even make it in soap episodes in recent decades as they are seen as too boring. The more somber moments being balanced by Bo meeting his grandchildren was also lovely.  And the scene where Bo forgave Shawn may be the only time I've been in lock with Brandon Beemer's take on the part.  There's a certain element of suffocation with soaps, as shown here, when you remember so many of the kids are named after long dead relatives, or when they grew up, were paired with the kids of other longtime characters. That aspect always makes me yearn for new blood (new blood that doesn't suck, anyway), but there are other moments, like those with Bo, which make me appreciate all the history the show has.
    • A funny scene, Roger and Sonni go out to eat, at that place that had a colonial theme (I love when soaps have very specific places to eat..I hated the diners on GL, ATWT and AW) and this is just after Rog came back and Sonni hit the headlines and the waitress scremes.."Oh, Roger Thorpe, and YOUR...please dont' hurt me..." and they are all like, "Hey, were just hungry!" (most soaps now have someone go on a murder spree and the rest of the cast and extras look like they havent heard about it."

    • Thanks as always @Huntress always appreciate you popping in and sharing info about these shows. What are you thinking of them at present?
    • Per Flixpatrol, it's been at 4-4-5 (June 3rd to 5th).   https://flixpatrol.com/title/days-of-our-lives/
    • Someone has been posted episodes from 1994 and Jill Powell (Marcy Lafferty) has a hot storyline right now. Just googled her and in real-life she is now openly out as a Lesbian with a transgender son.
    • Did anyone else notice that DAYS has not been in the Top 10 most streamed shows on Peacock this week??? I find that very strange considering how good the show has been, especially this week.
