How did she get a nomination over Debbi Morgan? How did ANY of them get one over Debbi?

Oh my god, the lack of relevence is just devastating.

Referencing SON's episode counts, Tatyana Ali was in a whopping seven episodes of Y&R last year, and Yvette Freeman was in five episodes of B&B. It is absolutely disgusting that the NAACP felt that they were more deserving of being nominated than Debbi Morgan, who basically carried her show all the way through to its finale.

All they do is nominate people from Y&R and rotate whoever else they feel like. For much of the past 20 years Victoria Rowell and Tonya Lee Williams rotated winning actress and Shemar Moore and Kristoff St. John rotated winning actor. Its always been a joke IMO.

At this rate, they'll be down to nominating extras next year. I've voted in the process when I was a member, the choices were slim then too. It's borderline embarassing nominating people who are barely visible on a show.

This is so pressed and embarrassing. I realize that these noms and wins mean nothing to non-soap fans who may catch the telecast but it just looks trifling to those of us who are. And then to not even include Debbi and Darnell after this year's s/l??
