I just received my print issue of TV Guide in the mail. There is an article with Erika Slezak talking about the end of OLTL and it includes spoilers.

Basically a shocking turn happens, during the week of the 9th, due to the Statesville break out, both Viki and Clint get shot. They (Viki and her soul mate Clint) end up in heaven. The photograph is of Erika and Jessica Tuck (Megan) speaking with Clint in the background. There is a reference to how when Viki visits heaven she has a return ticket. Erika also jokes that the only original body part that Viki still has is her appendix.

I totally knew it would be Viki that would be shot.

But Clint being shot along with her surprised me.

I still don't see where Luna and Gabrielle fit into this. I really hope Viki's sister Meredith can appear. That would be a nice way to honor the earlier years which they don't seem to do. I would probably have a heart attack if Larry Wolek ended up being their doctor!

That picture is stunning. I believe I know the ending and I think it will be a total cliffhanger. But somehow perfect. Erika said that the show DID shoot multiple endings just in case...very smart move.. This ending is really everything I could ask for. Heaven, Megan.. Gabrielle...

If they end OLTL with Viki in heaven and the audience not knowing if she is going to wake up, I bet a lot of people are going to be even more upset than with how AMC ended.

I don't know, I think that ending fits.... I think it will be in that realm. I just hope it is done amazingly. That weak gunshot blast on AMC sounded like something off of an Ipod and the editing was TERRIBLE.
