WOW!

That mirror scene was... a lot. and very unexpected.

Sadly thats all this show is, a series of scenes, some amazing but most awful.

All I kept thinking was that Will is becoming the Michelle Stafford of Salem.

Is she the one who did the spit take and then Victoria Rowell insisted this common acting trick that has been done a billion times before on stage and screen was proof of racism?

It was very unexpected because soaps never get that deep. Soaps idea of deep tend to be longwinded monologues where they narrate their every thought and feeling as if anyone was interested beside them. This was far more realistic and therefore resonated more.

Yes. She also raged at herself in mirrors.

Forgot to say I thought Bratz and Quinn were actually cute, unlike her and that mess Austin.

I agree! It was random as all get out (still, why is Quinn even on this show?!?) but it was still somewhat cute.

I really liked the mirror scene, though when everyone online was talking about the day's great mirror scene with Will I was horrified the scene would be like back when Nicole used to talk to some weird doppelganger in the mirror who had a Jersey accent about how she wanted to destroy Chloe.

The Will storyline has so much potential, as do these other stories, but MarDar's inability to write drama is so frustrating. Aside from the Sami reveal, the whole Hope thing was really dumb. Let's stand around then say "oh, I'm not ready!" No build up to her breaking down over this whatsoever. There's no correlation between the day to day anymore, no cliffhangers, so sense of a momentum of anything building.

I think it's clear that Tomlin had a big hand in boarding out the actual shooting of the show. During the Tomlin/Higley era, there were daily cliffhangers because they did a lot of cross-shooting -- like filming all the week's episodes that took place in a certain set on the same day, or shooting several days' worth of scenes for a single storyline in a day to parcel out through the week. The current show looks like it's back to shooting one script per day, with everything being fairly contained. I can't even remember the last time we had a real cliffhanger.

I generally enjoy watching the show -- partly because the actual scenes and interactions are good, and partly because there is so much hilarious WTF-ery going on -- but I'm just waiting for it all to go somewhere. I've been watching people contemplate and accept job offers for four months, with little payoff.

The Will/Sonny scenes in the pub were legitimately enjoyable. Even as I was laughing at the idea of a gay club called "Unicorn Highway," I liked that they took the time to play Will's actual discomfort with others presuming he's gay. It was one of the more realistic emotions I've seen on a soap lately. I honestly never thought I'd see gay material play as anything other than a C-storyline joke on Days.

She looks so friggin old and the clothes they dress her in these days dont help. Her hair is way too light and she could use a darker color. Her makeup seems off as well

Nicole's makeup looked horrendous today.
