Get ready for all the talk of out of control PC liberal Hollywood. Director/producer Brett Ratner is out as Oscar producer after tacky comments about his sex life as well as an anti-gay comment.

No word if Eddie Murphy will still be on as Oscar host.

I would not have done that if I were Eddie. Bad mistake, IMO.

I think it would have hurt him professionally if he had stayed, since he seems to work with Ratner. They also may have delved more into his comments about gays, which were very notorious.

Eddie's OK, but he often seems to be laughing at his own jokes.

Ratner stuck his leg down his throat. I may see friendship by also stepping aside, but I just hope that many will not put Eddie in the same boat as Ratner. That since he also stepped aside, he must agree with Ratner's vile statements.

I think most people will just see it as professional courtesy.

Most likely a lot of the public who follow this will end up seeing Ratner as a martyr anyway.
