OLTL: Discussion for the week of September 12th

I think Flo's reactions are extremely real for a woman who literally just lost her husband and the man that she thinks did it, is standing there at the church where the funeral was just held. I don't think a lot of people would have a normal calm conversation in that situation...I like that Flo isn't afraid to go there in character..Yes it can be OTT but she's a totally committed actress, and honestly these days it's a welcome change.

I think the problem is more if people see this type of thing again and again - but then that's the problem with these characters. They never are allowed to change.

She had no connection to the victim. Obviously the circumstances here are different as its 100% personal to her and she is the one grieving and in pain. It wouldnt be fitting for her to defend the man she beleives to be the one that caused that pain

She had a connection to Starr and she had little problem manipulating Starr into freeing Todd.

I just don't see this as a big change for her.

Todd was on trial for what he did to Marty not Starr. She had no connection to Marty and again, she wasnt directly hurt by his actions. It had nothing to do with her as she was personally detached from the case. Thats not the same situation here

Starr was a big part of all that, as he was also in trouble for his plans against her, if I remember correctly.

It's hard to take Jackass seriously about "Scarface" paying for anything when he's walking around scot-free after what he did to Gigi

He didnt do anything to Starr. He was planning on taking her baby but changed his mind. The only person who could have concretely corroborated what he was planning was Dr. Joplin and she killed herself. His trial was about Marty as there were no charges they could bring up in regards to Starr.

LOL say what you will but Jack does the cocky evil look VERY well

He fits right in with the men of Llanview - he may kill or harm women, but at least he can smirk on cue.

My main point was she didn't have a problem using Starr in that trial, but I see your point.
