thats the story the show is going with even though it doesnt make a lick of sense how fast they've made the characters move on

She was over him about six minutes after Bill decided to stay with Katie post-heart attack.

Pretty much everyone knows about them. Liam was actually the first one to find out about the affair

I really think they missed the boat torching the Katie/Bill/Steffi triangle. Bill is exactly the kind of man who'd have a mistress, and Steffi has never had a problem chasing another woman's man. It had a lot better foundation than most of the triangles ever written for this show, so why not run with it?
