Thanks. Obrecht's return scenes did feel very forced, although after seeing her have a big welcome with Willow I wonder how she'd react to Willow these days.

I'd like to take this moment to announce I would be all for Obrecht returning if it meant she became an accomplice to Willow faking her cancer to get out of whatever spate of crimes she can get up to.

That's a great idea.

Here is today's daily Jarly video, a beautiful couple edit by Ellie aka JarlyFan that you may find yourself thinking about later! Huge kudos to Ellie/JarlyFan!

Happy Birthday, GH!

Some nice words from Schemering:

Quote
"From a cherished medical drama delving into the lives of Dr. Steve Hardy and Nurse Jessie Brewer to a pop culture phenomenon celebrating the wild adventures of Luke and Laura, General Hospital is a Cinderella story in three distinct acts.
The middle act, of course, is the dreary period in the mid '70s when the show fell from a number one spot in 1972 to near the bottom of the heap in 1977. Very close to cancellation, General Hospital staged an unprecedented comeback with the miraculous innovations of producer Gloria Monty. The show soon broke all records in daytime television and changed not only the face of daytime drama but even the way people view soap operas."

They really have a legacy. Let's hope they have better days to come in living up to it.

I also see that she was with Scott...was that at this time? How long were they together?

In 2020, Obrecht was having some doctor at a WSB facility brainwash Dante to kill Peter, then Scott and Franco went to the same facility to get help for Franco's tumor recurrence. Scott ended up saving Obrecht after the doctor attempted to sexually assault her and pushed him into a knife, killing him. Nobody ever found out about that and eventually they fell in love and started a relationship. They were together for more than two years but broke up in 2023 after Scott continued to stand by Liz after the whole thing concerning Liz helping Nikolas hold Esme captive came out. Obrecht blamed Liz's actions in that for indirectly leading to Britt's death.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, Kin was being Kin.

But also onscreen, Scott & Lucy had a one time thing. Not that they hadn't had many in the long past ... stop to catch my breath ... this time got Lucy in trouble with Marty, who she had been seeing ... emphasis on past tense ... Now all we're left with is the fervent wish for Lucy to keep her  clothes on at the Nurses Ball.
