She was engaged to Dr Frankenstein and you can imagine that when it came time for the monster to put one woman in danger that the fiancee was just what the doctor ordered. Did Marland and or Monty decide that he didn't fit their vision of the role? Any details? Granted, this was way before my time, but I'd like to think that the writers actually worked on Laura and Bobbie becoming (civil/friendly/friends?) over time instead of simply shoving them together because they both loved Luke.
