I don't remember her.

I forgot to say, Paul Raven, how great the photo is of Mae Clarke.

I love ALL of these pics!

Cheap, I'm glad I'm not the only Skye/Jax fan around here. LOVED them and they were the main reason I didn't like Brenda's 02 return very much -- She ruined them!

I loved them too! Damn Brenda mad.gif

Mae Clarke was also in Frankenstein with Boris Karloff. She was engaged to Dr Frankenstein and you can imagine that when it came time for the monster to put one woman in danger that the fiancee was just what the doctor ordered. It's a great movie.

Re Michael Gregory as Rick.

What were the circumstances of his departure? When was it?

Did Marland and or Monty decide that he didn't fit their vision of the role?

Any details?

I remember he turned up a few years later on Days as the captain of the ship who rescued the supposed dead Anna Brady.it was a one or two day tole.

I'd never seen those photos of Claudia, Bobbie, and Laura in formal clothes before. Was that from a magazine shoot?

Speaking of Laura and Bobbie, how in the world did Bobbie go from hating Laura for being with the man that she wanted (Scotty) to wishing her the best of luck and life with her brother at their wedding?

Granted, this was way before my time, but I'd like to think that the writers actually worked on Laura and Bobbie becoming (civil/friendly/friends?) over time instead of simply shoving them together because they both loved Luke.

Please fill a slight new-schooler in.

While looking for some Bobbi Jordan clips, I saw a mention of a recent Valerie Starrett interview. She speaks briefly about why she left GH.

You were one of the General Hospital’s most popular actresses during the seventies. Fans were outraged when you left in 1977. Was it by choice?

I left—I love this term—because of creative differences. Tom Donovan replaced the director I had always worked with. It was a volatile relationship. I didn’t fall into the mix nor would I meaning that I rarely said the lines as written. I had always been sort of the darling of the previous director and I was the antithesis of that with Tom Donovan. It was amazingly bloody. I remember being called to his office right before I was let go and he screamed at me, ‘You’re Marilyn Monroe!’ I yelled back, ‘You’re worse!’ It was not a happy relationship.

It sucks that she had to leave that way. From the little I've seen of her, I much prefer her to Brooke Bundy.
