Wonder who played Mrs Taylor? maybe a known actress from soaps or primetime?

Poor Diana did not have a good track record with children...maybe it could have been revealed that Amy Vining was also adopted and Diana was her mother! Lesley and Diana could swap obsession stories.

Having that detail included probably meant the writers planned to use it down the track, but Lesley's took prominence and Diana's was dropped.

Fascinating as always and shows how skimpy other 'History of GH' have been.

@FrenchFanLooks like the last appearance of Iris is January 30, 1970:

Friday, January 30, 1970: Iris feels miserable (this is after Lee told her they didn't need her), writes a letter to Lee and Meg telling them she is going to be a nurse in a clinic for alcoholic women.

"Tracy and Jeff are married" is the final mention of them on January 2, 1970.

@Paul RavenLouise Fitch is Mrs. Taylor by May 13th.  The actress for the character is left blank prior to this.

I just watched a really rough set of scenes from 1979, with Laura upset she might be pregnant and Luke hoping she was and that it was his.  The end of the clip had Luke admitting to Bobbie that he had raped Laura.

And then YouTube auto played an episode of L/L on the run from the same year.  Now openly flirting and falling in love.

What a wild trajectory, that would not be accepted today obviously. Watching the two scenes back to back was interesting.

The writing on Night Shift was so good during the second season. Sri Rao understood what fans wanted to see, and provided it to us. It's a shame Disney-ABC never hired him, despite him wanting the position. I also believe Lisa de Cazotte was a wonderful executive producer for that season, as well.

I was wondering WEHT to Sri Rao and according to IMDB, he has a deal with Netflix due to writing one of the highest rated shows in India last year.  So, good for him.

He also wrote a pilot for Kelly Ripa and the screenplay for a great book I am Not Myself These Days by Josh Kilmer-Purcell aka the taller one of the Beekman Boys.

I remember all the positive critical and fan response to NS2. I believe ratings were very good for SoapNet too.

It was such a contrast to have hospital-centric drama with Scorpio on the edge of death and Jagger looking for treatment for his son, when GH was all mob all the time at this point.

The island of characters in NS2 was so good, I wish more characters graduates to the mother ship. It also made me like some of the GH characters more in this more intimate and character driven setting.

Sri’s vision of GH was clearly not was JFP had in mind (hospitals? veteran performers? a woman lead? Sacreligous!)

I’m very happy with the current GH writers, but it sure took a long time for the show to get to this place.

Was any reason given as to why Night Shift wasn't renewed?  Was it just too expensive for Soapnet?  I haven't watched since it aired, but weren't there some cliffhangers that weren't resolved?  Did Jagger even leave town or is he just hanging out in the non-filmed side of Port Charles now?
