Ok but Actors cant hold a project hostage either. Sometimes u just gotta look and say do I still wanan do this, Yes Ok Ill sign or I think Ive gone as far as I can now and depart and let PP decide what to do next. There are so many former actors/roles that could be brought back to fill in for those that dont want 2 continue. I hope PP gave the actors on the fence a date to say yes or no or were moving on.

Last time I looked we live in a free country and I don't see anyone holding anyone hostage and who's to blame if PP refuses to move forward because AM wants recurring. I mean thats utterly ridiculous that they are putting so much stock into an ACTOR who is perfectly recastable or expendable. WHy should I blame the actor for that mentality. They are only looking out for their own best interests which they should.

I don't see anyone holding PP hostage. The actors need to do what's in their best interests, not what in PP's best interest and PP needs to keep its priorities straight. I'm not even about to buy into the spin of our beloved savior Prospect Park being kept from meeting its (completely arbitrary and not altogether realistic) January deadline because of the greedy, selfish actors. I don't think this is about the actors at all. I think PP over-reached and now they have to regroup. No shame in that. They can just let us know when their ready to launch and I'll check out the product to see if I still give a damn.

Guilty as charged. But I do think its kind of deliberate. As soon as some time passes and the buzz dies down, some new tidbit is released or disclosed whether its accurate or not. Then we all start the speculation train all over again. Its a way to keep people interested and talking I guess.

I tend to agree with Marceline that the delays if there are any has nothing to do with the actors signing or not signing more like other things happening BTS none of us are privvy to.

Didn't PP say they were planning on launching 12 shows? If that's the case then it can't all be about whether some soap actor signs or doesn't. It's easy to sit here in the online soap echo chamber and freak the [!@#$%^&*] out with every tweet and there are clearly people who get off on making that happen but in the end we don't know where these shows fit in to PPs big picture or what's going on with PP away and apart from the soaps.

http://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/amc-actors-dish-latest-prospect-park

At the first night of the Tribute To Pine Valley tour held at Town Hall in New York City on October 25, Prospect Park's plans to relaunch AMC on the Internet was a hot topic of discussion among the stars present, Vincent Irizarry (David), Michael E. Knight (Tad), Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Walt Willey (Jack), Darnell Williams (Jesse) and Jacob Young (ex-JR, now B&B's Rick). It was news to Williams that PP-secured co-star Lindsay Hartley (Cara) had revealed on Twitter that he had signed on ("I didn't know I was announced") and cautioned that the "new" AMC "is still way up in the air." Mathison, who has also made a deal with PP, stated, "It's only a question of when, not a matter of if," while acknowledging that there are "things to get over to make it a reality." All six actors expressed hope that the show would indeed go on. "I don't know if I'll be on the show, but I'm excited to see it!" joked Willey. As for Young, he let it slip to fans that his deal with B&B is short-term, and seemed open to the possibility of reprising the role of JR down the line. "Let's see what these Prospect Park guys can bring to the table," he said.

Completely agree here, although I know I'll still give a damn enough to check it out even if it happened a year from now (though that seems like too long to wait on their part if they want success)--and only if the product is so uninspired will I finally give up lol

He was probably trying to keep fans interested, at least to some extent, but I do have to kinda wonder if he's already disappointed with maybe what he was promised story or priority wise on B&B
