Members dragonflies
I think whomever reported about OLTL being their priority while AMC is backburnered was right on......
Members skiman12082004
Only time will tell but I do believe getting SL is paramount for AMC. PP heads seem to be very knowledgeable and we still have some time left before a January launch is out of the realm of possibility.
Members dragonflies
IF PP thinks SL will take a 4 yr deal with no outs, they are truly freaking insane Some OLTL actors got one year deals, why are they offering AMC actors 4 year deals with no outs? Hmmm
Members JaneAusten
Yep. We hear about FV and RC going onto PP but we have not gotten anything about who is writing or producing for AMC other than rumors.
Members skiman12082004
To be fair OLTL only has 9 actors signed. In the grand scheme of things that is not a large portion of the cast so saying they are getting priority is a bit premature. Yeah they have more cast members signed but not by a helluva lot. Members JaneAusten
If they were smart they would sign on Lucci and give her another show or involvement in one. Arent they also doing reality shows? Why not some sort of makeover show with Lucci hosting. She is the queen of managing you image for success
Members dragonflies
Jamey's still saying on twitter that one AMC actor refuses to do AMC online cause of the EP. LOL nothing has even been confirmed about the EP
Members LeClerc
OLTL may be their priority but even it won't be starting in January if talks with the WGA have barely started. Or are those negotiations expected to be much easier than with AFTRA?
Members John
Jerry Ver Dorn Told Fans at OLTL's Fan Luncheon In August that PP had Offers Out to All The Unions Also Not every actor is signing 4 year deals and they are not exclusive. Members Marley
No way it's starting in january and if it is, I don't even want to think about what kind of product it will be.

Members BingCherry
If I were a betting man, I'd say we won't be seeing AMC or OLTL 'til springtime 2012.
Members EricMontreal22
But surely that aspect affects OLTL as well? Are the signed OLTL actors just more happy to not worry about outside projects as there are less in New York (I know some primetime films there, but... And I doubt theatre counts in the exclusivity). I do agree with Jane that I think they're waiting on Susan's deicsion--or on finding a deal they can work out. I'm not even certain that if she says no that means they'll drop AMC--they've already put a considerable amount of money in it, and with no other shows ready to launch, I'm sure they realize they'll be stronger with two shows on their network than one. But without Erica a) they probably think they'll have to restructure the show a lot more and need more time and/or they're in a way using Susan as a bargaining tool. It's horrible, but I can see them kinda holding it over her head hoping it makes her more likely to agree, because it means her friends--cast and some crew at least--are in the blanace till she makes her decision. Maybe I should just sing Cockeyed Optimist from South Pacific (), but I don't see this latest bit of "news" changing anything--for or against. The way news has come out about this project, there's every possibility that tomorrow suddenly we'll find out 6 actors are signed. OK, there's not a big chance of it happening tomorrow, but... Members EricMontreal22
They weren't planning to start filming till end of November anyway--and depending on how many episodes they're aiming for for January, I think it could happen. I'm more curious about who's being signed to write--but it certainly sounded like Lorraine B, with Agnes Nixon, had some story planned for when they come back--I doubt they just stopped writing any story plans, etc, with the finale cliffhanger. Though of course any of that would be cast specific. Exactly. It's all a mess
