Those flashbacks just remind me of how much I loved Tad and Dixie. They have always and will always be my #1. I'll never forget the dancing to Michael Bolton's "When a Man Loves a Woman". When I was a kid, I thought that was the most romantic scene that I could only hope to one day experience with someone else.

Thank you God for allowing AMC to end with Tad and Dixie reunited!

Thanks. It makes alot more sense now that you mention it, especially Marissa at the end. Im really pulling for them. They look soo good as a couple and CBL is really selling Bianca to me

I believe this is the first time Dixie has ever been referneced by Kathy. Tad never told her about Dixie onscreen before and its never been mentioned that she knew of her. I alos notice that there's now a picture of Dixie in the living room and I dont think that was there before.

Eye rolls can be sent my way to because I felt this way as well! Something clicked in this episode and I felt change to. Jonathan said it best up there in saying that the scenes felt more rich!

JR/Tad scenes ALWAYS annoyed me before but today they didn't. They were really sweet today with JR's old toys and all the talk about Dixie. I laughed when JR was at home playing with the yoyo, then he put on that cowboy hat & posed, then took out the pic of Dixie holding him as a baby blush.gif

Tad/Cara were also really good!

I don't think Marissa realizes how much Binx loves her and she won't until she finds out Bianca is the one who influenced JR to do all those things for her these last two weeks like getting her the orange soda/donuts at the park, etc. After that, I wonder how Marissa will start to feel? Anyways, even though I hated it, it was necessary & soo realistic for Marissa to get squeamish and become distant from Bianca when she revealed her feelings. I thought their scenes were handled almost flawlessly!! It was annoying when Bianca suggested helping Marissa with her sun tan lotion, LMAO seriously??!

Anyone who's had a friend confess something like that regardless of sexuality should know how Marissa feels. Ive had a friend tell me he was interested in me like that and wanted to go out. I didnt like him like that and it ruined our friendship. I thought maybe I was giving the wrong signals and everytime I was with him, I was conscious about that. It became awkward and uncomfortable and it was because I wanted to always make it clear that it wasnt gonna happen. It must be extra weird for Marissa considering its her lesbian BFF

I actually floved yesterday's epi. Binx is not my fav or anywhere near my fav character, but CBL makes her so rootable, and thank god for her cause Sarah Glendasuck aka Ms.Little Red Riding Ho can't even show she has lesbian tendencies, in my years of watching soaps she is the first person I see that has absolutely positively w/o a doubt, not one inch of chemistry w/ Jacob Young. I don't know how that is possible, even BA had a littllllllllllllle of it. She has absolutely none, not one spark.

Never in my life have I seen an actress complete generate nothing from Jacob. Whatevs AMC, LoBro I know what you're doing, JUST F*CKING END IT!

It's like Papi Stool-O *just watch his facial expressions to understand that* w/ Kendall, END IT!

I loved the flashbacks yesterday w/ Dixie and the immediate family.

Jake can drive anyone woman away from men, literally, It gets worse this son of a b!tch Martin has the nerve to put this sh!t on!

I mean WTF finds this sexy?

He's trying to win back Amanda or scare her away? This ended all my pirate fantasies.

Tad and Dixie scenes were wonderful  , sayonara Cara.. tu vas solita *see? it can mean plural*, the montage at the end was beautiful. Jake the pirate disgusting! Marissa aka Glendasuck continues to stink up my screen. Hurray up LoBro..my patience and I have to watch afterglow today. :jeal0002:

Leave it to Jake to make a woman sick after having sex with her. Amanda gets up, practically faints, and he lays back with that satisfied look on his face.

ETA: And that Jamanda sex scene was awkward as hell. Amanda lays flat on the floor and starts unbuttoning her blouse while Jake stands over her?!

    • I think someone said it did exist, but I can't remember.
    • The bit with the scarf reminds me of the fabled stuffed animal scene with Rick and Phillip. (That wasn't debunked, was it?)
    • Ohh, interesting. I instantly gravitated towards her in that episode. Of course I'm already hooked and want to know why she was trying to poison that older lady, but then how did the older lady know to switch the mugs so Susan drank her own poison...  but I have too many timelines I'm watching right now haha.  Oh, Bolger is definitely hot. I didn't realize he was on GL haha. I knew him from OLTL and other primetime stuff.
    • This is a effin shame. Eff Trump and eff the bastards that enable him.
    • I 100% agree but I think this is due to how the show is structured. It's a one family show which means there are no people in her age range that could be used as friends or contemporaries of her. The show definitely needs a second main family. I am glad someone finally said this. Especially now that the cast is gelling in their roles, he stands out like a sore thumb. No energy, no chemistry with anybody. He is just there.  I thought that was odd as well! The previous scene would've worked better as a tag for the credits.
    • That's the one and only Carrie Nye (Mrs. Dick Cavett) as Susan Piper, a deadly realtor. I don't want to spoil a lot if you ever want to see those episodes. She returns as another character in 2003. I think Grant has aged well and he always did a good job at being ripped without going too far, but he was never entirely my cup of tea either. I did think John Bolger was hot.
    • Totally agree. KKL looks great! It makes the Widge groveling so bizarre. Brooke needs to leave FC and with $B's/Liam's funding launch a rival fashion house with Hope, Rick, Katie and a secret designer. The best scenario is that Rick has been absent because he's been with very much alive C2, who is revealed on the runway as the secret designer. It'll never happen because B&B is comfortable just focusing on FC and the Forresters Marones v. Logans. But it'd been so much more interesting if the Spencers/Logans united.

    • Haha that scarf thing did go on a bit too long, very odd. And what a young Rick!  I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I just never got the physical appeal of Grant Aleksander, but he's definitely a great actor. Who is the older lady around the 8:30 mark, and also ends the episode, alone and in pain? She seems like a really interesting character. I love the smoky voice and sultry, snaky vibe she seems to have.
    • I can't remember exactly but I think she lives in or is part of the cottage story with Carrie. Carrie poisons her in this episode.  I forgot Teresa was on the show. (I see that AI is insisting she wasn't - well they're wrong) Poor Maeve. I can how even she had her limits.
