I have some more missing actor names from 1991 episodes... Do you happen to have information on any of these?

New York based designer "Jonathan Sloan" whom Julie wanted Clarke to work for

Sally's OB-GYN "Dr. Barnett" in September 1991 (as well as a nameless female ER doctor...)

Handwriting expert "Eric Littlefield" who was hired by Stephanie to fake a letter from Eric

The homeless extras druing Stephanie's skid row period? One of them was called "Lucas"

"Tommy Bolton" a family friend of the Forresters who Thorne wanted to romance Felicia

One of Jake's tennis clients who happened to be very much into him called "Tiffany"

I didn't have the others.   But now that I do, I'll be keeping my eye out for them and let you know

I don't know if this is Lucas, but I have Harry Perry as Homeless Person, with no date that I could find;

@DRW50 I never thought I would hear this on the show, Stephanie describing Angela's accident, and the famous "She rolled down the Hill".....I started laughing and thought of you!

Thank you @YRfan23 ! What a hoot. Remember when we actually had anything to say about B&B?

(for anyone who doesn't remember - Susan Flannery used to reference this scene any time she had a scene or storyline that she thought sucked)

What an awful, ridiculous story - even for 2018 soaps.

(for some reason I thought it was "Seventh Avenue" not "Ocean Avenue")

I didn't know Caroline and Stephanie had the same hairstyle. Ridge really did have mommy issues...

Kristen looks pissed off. Maybe it's just the eyebrows.

I always thought, Stephanie used that line after Angela and her doctor had their car accident and that's what she was referring too...I didn't know it was a wheelchair accident.

I feel like the story on paper sounded a lot more better then how it played out...other then the creepy facial makeup stuff a year later....the Angela story never really had a proper ending I think. I always say it wasn't until 1989 the show really picked up the pace, but after reading synopses, It still seemed like it was struggling on what type of show they wanted to be....I guess it was hard for Bill Bell to live up to the hype of Y&R's popularity....obviously the show improved over the next couple of years...

even so, I would take this B&B over "Liam and the Liam" everyday!

This story was indeed dropped. Deveney Dixon wanted the ultimate revenge and tried to have THorne shoot Ridge AGAIN. This plan was foiled and no one ever gave a rat's a$$ about Deveney ever again. YOu can watch those episodes on the Polish YouTube channnel. There quite a few bits and pieces missing of the Angela story but the finale is on there in its entirety. The story was forgotten within ONE SINGLE episode.

Overall, the story wasn't too bad. The climax came pretty fast and as soon as Deveney Dixon (the real name of the fake Angela was never revealed...) entered the picture it was very James E. Reilly-like but in a good campy fun way.

Deveney just disappeared, never to be mentioned again right? I know the confrontation scenes with Stephanie and Deveney are still around, but after Stephanie stops Thorne from shooting Ridge again, Deveney just disappears....
That seemed to be a Bill Bell thing, having the villain just vanish, if he had no more use for them...he did it on Y&R with Lisa, and even though she wasn't really a villain....Diane who helped David, but then turned on him, just ran off, right as David was killed...

    • Also, the lawsuit story was not the right story to bring Naomi and Bill into a court battle since those types of lawsuits are usually resolved via settlements.
    • I know that Sara did eventually become Carrie's therapist, but I was curious if the show had her make comments regarding Carrie's stunts of making it seem as though Justin was cheating on Jackie.  Given that Justin cheated on Sara with both Jackie and Brandy, I wondered if it was wise of her to counsel Carrie given the conflict of interest involved. @DRW50I think once Adam/Sara end up married.. Marland didn't see any reason to explore Sara's personal life after the actor playing Adam was released.  I know that Sara lasts until at least Christmas 1982 on the show.. but I don't think she ended up staying on for very long into 1983. The period between Marland quitting and Pam Long starting was the perfect time to clean house on characters that had outgrown their usefulness  (i.e. Ben, Evie, Sara, Jennifer, Morgan).. and tying up stories started by Marland that were too complex (Mona Enright, Mark/Jennifer/Amanda triangle).
    • Unpopular opinion:  The focus on the soap opera tropes over the mysteries and crimes was partly what did the show in.  Also, featuring characters not involved in the legal, police, and criminal elements also hurt the show and took away what made it unique. Featuring characters like Jody, Raven, Sky, etc hurt the show long term.  The show ABCified starting in 1976/1977 and then went through a youthification period starting in 1981.
    • I feel like the lawsuit storyline was resolved quickly because the show didn’t want to spring for more sets.
    • It's been a while, but we have seen the foyer to Bill and Hayley's house as well as the exterior entrance to their house. The foyer was first seen in the premiere episode when Hayley met Vanessa at the house.
    • There's still a year or two before Larkin arrives. Joel is there already. EON does noticeably youthify, although I think they carry it off. Admittedly I haven't seen most of the Jody stories, which from what people here have said aren't great.
    • I don't mind the actor who plays Brian. He's fine. The problem for me is that Paige seems so wishy wishy. She doesn't seem to have much of a personality at this point so I don't see why Brian would be so besotted with her. She just lurches from one trauma to the next. Granted, it's only been a month, but she's not as vibrant as April or even Deborah who has had minimal screen time by this point.  I do worry about the influence of GH on the show since I'm in fall of 1979 and characters have conversations and there's not the drive to "youthify" the show. However, I think Marceau (sp?) is gone. He was given a rather tame sendoff. How long was the actor on the show? I hope this is not a sign of things to come. I worry the show is setting up a murder mystery around one of my favorite characters and I will be mightily annoyed. I also noticed in recent Search for Tomorrow episodes uploaded to YT that the actors playing Logan and Eliot showed up. I don't watch the show but they were in the screencaps. When does Larkin Malloy show up or has he already left? Joel Crothers hasn't shown up either unless I've blinked and missed him.
    • Dr Linden. She treated Vanessa's drug addiction (although Vanessa seemed to forget that by Henry's suicide attempt) , and she's mentioned during Reva's PPD. Although I can't recall if she's actually shown right off the top of my head. She probably was temporarily shelved when Sonni was a therapist (between her crazy times) And I think Billy sees her after he falls off the wagon after Reva's death.
