I loved the Angela/Deveney story. Is it the same actress who played Angela playing Deveney. The Angela story ended in April and didn't she reappear as Deveney in the fall? I liked how we found out what happened to her and the doctor after going off the cliff. It was terrible though that Angela didn't go to prison. She committed fraud and murdered someone.

Trying to untangle the dates. I'm comparing them to the available recaps and the clips that Marquise posted in the Clips 1994 folder.

"November 1994 7" is November 21 (source: https://groups.google.com/g/rec.arts.tv.soaps/c/Cqe52wjTcNs/m/U9AEY4cH5JYJ), which means "November 1994 6" is November 18, so the episode we had as November 18 is possibly the 17th?

Not sure about the others.

Yes, I posted the same thing last week. Omar and Taylor's wedding aired in late November and had the numbers 1924 and 1925 according to all my recaps.

I will list the missing episodes in 2018 and I'll upload them by the end of next week if it's ok.

Yes, I noticed that as well! Also, the official B&B site states that Paris's first episode is #8391, which confirms that 8318A was not #8319. I wonder what that means for the international broadcast.

Certainly here in Australia, the numbering is correct factoring in the 8318A and 8426 Pt2. Our screenings are listed by actual episode number, but it’s gone relatively unnoticed in the US due to numbering the episodes as seasons and the number within that season.

Casey Kasprzyk did get back to me at the time confirming that lockdown return episode was numbered 8318A, as it was written after the ones that came after it (which had already been filmed).

it’s funny but really when they celebrate 9000 episodes it might really be 9002!  Or 9001 as 7000 wasn’t really a proper episode, right, more a special episode and showing them helping the homeless? It’s officially documented as 7000, so I guess it has to count in the tally.

In essence, there’s really 2 more episodes than they claim they’ve produced!

I noticed that last night on YouTube, so strange! Love the comment someone left about providing the rest of the episodes either side and in-between!

Good Question!!!

I wanted her to return when Sheila came back a few years ago. As well as James Warwick made that blink if you miss it appearance when Sheila was blackmailing him. I would've loved to see Mary-Margaret being torn between her parents as well as interacting with others on the canvas too.

Thanks! Thiem my favorite player on tour. I've been watching and playing tennis for many many years. And yes the US Open final was quite a match. You should post on the tennis thread in the off topic area on the board.

Making my way through the 1991 episodes and for the most part I'm really enjoying them.

Can't stand Blake though. He's the new Mick Savage. Hopefully he'll be gone soon. I don't really understand the Taylor/Blake relationship either. Why exactly did this stunningly beautiful young woman marry this creepy old guy?

    • I am wholeheartedly enjoying this show. I just haven't been able to post as much as I used to. But yes, this episode needs to be submitted for the EMMYs and there needs to be wins. I better NOT see Y&R, DAYS, or B&B winning in categories over BTG. I feel like the only show that is giving BTG an ounce of competition this season is GH.
    • I never thought the day would come, but too much MM for me.
    • I think it may be that the character was brought in for a specific purpose and then became popular with viewers, and the show didn't know how to respond.  The choice to pivot away from Simon/India may show that you are right and they didn't care for her...although pairing them up may be another sign they didn't care for her. I don't connect well with this period but it does make me happy seeing some of these characters before the great purge and some of the surprises - I'd forgotten the wonderful Maureen O'Sullivan popped up to be bumped off. So typical of soaps by this point, but it doesn't grate as much as later on when Y&R would bring on any random cast member from Small Wonder. I'm also amazed at this time at just how much money the show must have had. The costumes for the Founder's celebration in summer 1984, or whatever it was, looked gorgeous.
    • Which officially started to feel that way today with them hearing each other out as they confronted each other at the same time.    Same. He was even catching himself when he was about to go overboard or do those tics that people don't seem to like. He failed a bit at the end, but he carried. It makes me think about a month back when it was discussed that the actor was better in other things he's been in. And I questioned then if that meant that he was playing Martin more intentionally. I questioned that briefly again today because he was giving.
    • I really like the actress who plays Margo. Don't know  her name. I'm so hesitant to google anyone because I don't want to know the length they were on the show. I've watched two episodes and I have to say that the show does not feel as dated as other shows. I tried to watch Ryan's Hope a few weeks back and some of the acting was a bit rough. EON is a lot more natural which amuses me considering it's a mystery/thriller show.
    • She’s INCREDIBLE. I’m so glad you enjoyed this my friend.
    • I loved SOAP OPERA NOW because they  did detailed analysis of the ratings.
    • I love MKA and feel like they never used her to her full potential with India. The character seemed to exist merely to fight with Alex and blackmail men into marrying/sleeping with her. As if! Then adopting an orphan right out of Little Orphan Annie...somebody BTS didn't like her, I think.
    • I mean...Sarah Michelle Gellar did go on to be a household name and food guru. I can see Ambyr doing the same with the same talent.  Amen.
