It looks like THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Sharon is getting a new lawyer in those pesky charges that she killed Skye. According to TV Guide, former LOVING sweetheart Jessica Collins (Dinah Lee) has been cast in the contract role of high-powered attorney Avery Clark, hired by Victor to represent his daughter-in-law for her bum murder rap. Look for Collins -- whose post-daytime roles include AMERICAN DREAMS, TRU CALLING and Catch Me If You Can -- to debut on Wednesday, July 27.

OMG, Dinah Lee returns to tv! It sucks that its to Y&R but I was a Dinah Lee fan from Loving as played by the fabulous Jessica Collins. Its been about 17 years since she's been in daytime. It will be so good to see her again

Trivia that most Loving fans already know: When Collins left the role of Dinah Lee, she was recast with Elizabeth Mitchell (of Lost and V).

Haha, they could have easily hired Candace Cameron for this role. Im glad to see an old soap star back on tv instead of some sitcom actor

I would think she is too old for Heatherbc she has to be like 40 something by now but man does she look good. She was beautiful then and has aged very well. She doesnt look much older than Vail and I could see her as Heather, at least she would be a step up from Eden

Yes. Collins was on the show from around 1991 to mid/late 1994. Heinle was on from about 1992-the end of Loving (late 1995).

Heinle was at her best, by far, on Loving, so perhaps this will inspire her.
