I don't mean all dropped stories ever on GH (although that would be fun to talk about too), I meant dropped stories in the last, I don't know, 3-4 years.

Like, did they ever find out who killed Epiphany's son? And wasn't Franco supposed to be after Brenda?

There was the heavy hinting that Brenda was the mysterious burn victim on Night Shift. I dont think the women's true identity was ever revealed.

I know where was also some spec because Cooper's last name was Barrett.

The whole storyline with Helena, Nikolas and whoever Matt Borlenghi was supposed to play.

yeah I believe he was supposed to be Brenda's brother had they gotten Vanessa back, but that never materialized bc she didnt return, and he was subsequently killed off

That was the least of Night Shift's problems. How about at the end Robin got hurt and wound up on a stretcher dying, suddenly opened her eyes and the series ended? Was it all a dream?

I wouldnt say thats a dropped storyline. It was a plot point, one that was supposed to fuel her motivation at the time. I dont think it was supposed to be its own storyline in and of itself

Yeah, I didnt get that one. They dropped the whole Helena angle post-birth and have handled this story poorly. Thankfully it looks like they will soon be getting back to it but it kinda feels a little too late

Helena came back in April of 2009. She was on a mission to get something. We last saw her flying away in an airplane, holding a painting. Out of the back of th painting she pulled a birth certifcate. But we didn't know whose it was. Later she came back and talked about "Valentin Cassadine" He was supposedly another of Mikos' bastard children. He was reportedly so evil, even Helena was scared of him. They built up to it for a few weeks then BAM never mentioned again .

Nik and Johnny both invested in the Haunted Star as part owners for a while. Nothing really came of it.

Somehow, though I'm not really remembering details, Jax ended up owning Sppon Island and planned to evict Nikolas. I can't remember why he wanted Nikolas out tho.

About 9 years ago, Sarah (Elizabeth's sister) was supposed to have gotten married, and her husband then died. This was right before she slept with Lucky. We were told in the soap press that Sarah's husband was Nicholas' illegitimate brother, whose name was Aiden. Then they dropped the whole thing and sent Sarah packing. This was around June 2002, right about the time that Jason came back for good.

I'm not sure if they ever referenced Lucky sleeping with Sarah again. I seem to remember a few years ago, when Liz/Lucky were going through problems (I can't remember which time), Liz said something about her Lucky having died in that fire. I then read a post in which somebody said "my Lucky never would have slept with my sister." I'm not sure if Liz really said that, or if the poster was saying what they wished Elizabeth had said.

When ABC fired her in spring 2002 and brought in Guza and Pratt, the two of them publicly ridiculed the state of the previous writing (mocked McTavish's propensity to give everyone long lost sisters as well as saying her take on Edward was cartoonish - both of which Guza and Pratt said in the press as well as had characters say in the script) and did their best to eradicate what was in place.

Oh thanks, I forgot about Kristina. I liked her character and loved her with Zander. Its a shame she was killed off so quickly bc there was alot of potential with her and Jamie Ray Newman was such a natural actress with a very charismatic presence about her. Id love it if she were to come back in a different role but being dropped from GH seemed to have been for the best bc going by her Wiki page, she's had alot of steady work since then. Good for her

I wasn't a big fan but I think they should have kept her around, as I would have liked her more once she was away from Ned. Alexis also could have used another relative, instead of the Dobson crap. It would have made more sense than having Courtney onscreen 5 days a week for years.

Not exactly surprising that Guza had no problem with pointless brothers (Steve, Matt, Ethan), although he got to use Ethan to remind us again of what a failure/lie/waste of space the Spencers were, so I'm sure he enjoyed that.
