I beelive it. Owen's story ended abruptely last fall and he's barely been on this year. Im honestly surrpised he's still on contract. I dont think they will give him a new one when its up. Hopefully he'll get an exit unlike Agnes and Bridget who literally dissappeared overnight and were mentioend in passing weeks later. Rick didnt even get that

I thought this was referring to this item I saw at Daytime Confidential:

That's a shame about Brandon Beemer. He has a nice smile, is easy on the eyes, a pleasant voice, and he was perfect for the demands of characters like Owen. He should try doffing his shirt in primetime. I bet there is a CW show somewhere that would have loved him. He could easily have been the gay boyfriend on 90210 or something like that.

Ugh, they are ditching Rick Hearst AGAIN!? Seriously, Brad. Is it that hrad to write for this talented actor???

As for Beemer: SiD has it's facts wrong; Beemer first appeared in July so this means that his contract is up NOW (taking into consideration the taping schedule) and not in a few months...

Beemer was easy on the eyes and seemed so much more relaxed on B&B. It is a shame they didn't run with Jowen for a while. And Hearst on recurring? Sheesh, B&B. You reeled me back in with the Steffy-Bill-Katie triangle, but after three weeks of the Berries of DOOM and Taylor sniffing at Ridge's behind for the umpteenth decade, I'm about ready to confiscate Brad Bell's laptop again.

Except for the Justin character - this role was DOA but since he's back on contract now we never know??? - those at least had one BIG story. Whip Hearst had NOTHING upon his return to B&B. A pay cheque is a pay cheque though...

Now that Cheap brings it up: wasn't there some twitterish rumor that Ashley Jones is back on the B&B set? This could hint at some story for Owen... To my greatest surprise Brandon Beemer has been very enjoayable on B&B; his acting has become quite good and for some eyecandy hiring from DAYS (where he also wasn't too bad) he has my blessings to stay on the show.

IA on Aaron Spears. His "acting" irritates me. He does that same fake deep voice thing that Darius McCrary does on Y&R. They both are awful

As far as AJ, she was never back on the set. I remember someone saying that she messaged that she could be back and as a doctor months ago (I think like January) but nothing has materialized. Maybe contract negotiations fell through? It was after that, that they wrote Bridget out, with someone mentioning that she was in Hawaii with Logan. Before we were led to assume that she was in town, just not seen.

    • Oh wow. After reading your post, I realized that they had "Carl Ivati" in the script AGAIN yesterday June 6.    Eva said she was reading his latest, and Tomas said "Work's been so busy, I haven't had time to get into his new series". Then Eva proceeds to tell him that "the first book is called 'Mercy and Goodness' and it's all about how the couple first met and how they got separated".   She goes on and on about how great it is. And she says she has the book in her hotel room if he wants to borrow it. She says it has twists and turns. And meanwhile Kat is snooping in Eva's room to look for the helmet and gloves, and finds the book and dismisses it as "basic". I saw that whole scene -- but I wasn't paying attention to the name of the author.  And when Tomas said the name, I heard it in his accent so I didn't hear "carlivati".  II was mainly trying to see if the acting had improved with the actor playing Tomas, and I think he has improved somewhat.   I only see it when typed out. So they had several scenes yesterday about a "Carl Ivati" book?  Barf! Well at least Kat had the good sense to dismiss it as "basic". Ron Carlivati wrote the breakdown yesterday!   Featuring himself in it! Addressing to the collective "you" whoever you may be: Some of you, months ago, said Oh Ron is only doing breakdowns.  The story comes from MVJ, so he won't influence things, you said. May 27 started it, with Christopher Dunn breakdown and Lynn Martin script. But they didn't need to continue it June 6 with Carlivati breakdown and Jazmen Darnell Brown script.
    • I was completely lost. But it is wonderful that it exists. I didn't really know Robert Mandan had done soaps...well, besides SOAP.
    • Jack and Jennifer are tired. I just don't care about them when they return. They add nothing to the show.
    • Did they really bring back Jack and Jennifer for Jack to prop up Leo and Jenn to serve as an obstacle to Chad/Cat? Are we sure Ron still isn't in the building?
    • We can only hope that they finally kill off Leo too
    • We can only hope that maybe the new writers might read this.
    • You can get so many storylines from a Will/Sonny/Paul/Andrew/Dimitri mess And I'm sure Colton would do a great job

    • Sounds interesting. Too bad we never got that story.
    • Not to go too off topic but if you ever want to see more of his Search run just look for SFT Summer of 1966 on Youtube.
