Last night's episode was up a million viewers (or so) from the previous week. yay!

Very intense hour indeed and the next episode looks just as good.

Super intense hour, and I loved the way Joss set up the Russians against HR! I loved that at the end, when the shooting started, Joss went straight for the head guy. Like she said, cut off the head of the snake and the empire comes crumbling.

Always a treat to see Elias! Always!!!! He's such a smooth criminal and so organized. Love the relationship with him and his "2nd in command". He respects the hell out of Elias!

I have been reading speculation across the Web that Taraji P. Henson is leaving or being fired and that they are killing off Carter. If true, it would explain why they brought on Shahi as a regular. However, I am not convinced as yet.

I guess it could be Carter. They've set it up so her kid is taken care of. I've been thinking it's Fusco, since he's been MIA almost the entire season so far.

Fusco might be a red herring. If It's Carter, they've lost me as a viewer! Not interested in Shahi at all!

I just remembered that this was on. I saw Reese kiss Carter and kind of declare his love so you just know that she is dead. LOL! Let's see if I am wrong.

I don't watch this regularly, but this was definitely my last episode. It really will have a lily white cast now.

I was 70% sure at the kiss. I was mourning Fusco through the commercial break until they came back and started monologuing. Then I prepared for a head shot like Kate's on NCIS. I really haven't understood this arc of Carter's being obsessed with making HR pay for killing a guy she couldn't trust in the first place.

It has upped the stakes, so dramatically I give it props. Since I assume TPH wanted out, I'm not going to penalize the show for her exit. And props to them for keeping it a secret. That is not done nowadays.

But dayum, JOSS!

LOL! I don't care enough about the show to get that angry, but it does make me roll my eyes that they replaced their leading African American lady with a white one.

What an intense hour of TV. I almost cried with i thought they shot Fusco's son and Fusco was next, then the ending. Killing off Carter? I'm hoping it was her decision to leave and not the show's, because not only did I really like her character, but like other's said, now it's going to be an all white cast.

Taraji did an interview that I just read on Twitter a few hours ago, and she was asked "what was it like when they told you...", so I'm going to assume that it was not her leaving but the show didn't need her any longer. The bait and switch is complete and I'm out!

Yeah, it does seem like Taraji was fired. When they introduced the Shaw character at the end of last season, I wondered if Taraji was out, but thought it was my cynical nature raising its ugly head.

I haven't read anything myself, but that doesn't mean it wasn't her decision to leave---just that she didn't know they'd kill her off. Which on this show doesn't even mean she can't make more appearances, given how they do time jumps.
