Ah, let up on poor Aggie. :) The only good thing coming out of this cancellation is that we don't have to hear yet another newly installed HW go on about how he or she has sat down and had a conversation with Ag to get a better idea of what the show is about.

Obviously, I'd LOVE to see my Marcy return as Liza.

Some others I'd like to see:

Ray McDonnell as Joe

Mary Fickett as Ruth (I know she's retired, but wouldn't she come back to do this? Or is she ill?)

Julia Barr as Brooke

David Canary as Adam/Stuart

Anna Stuart as Mary

CARRIE GENZEL AS SKYE

ROBIN MATTSON AS JANET

Eva LaRue as Maria

A retrospective does sound like a great idea, but I doubt it'll happen. That costs some money to put together, and ABC's not giving AMC or OLTL any more pennies than they absolutely need. Plus, not sure I see them going out of their way to do a retrospective for a cancelled show. If the show were bowing out by choice, I'd say yes, but not with it being axed. Oh I think they're going to promote the hell out of those past few weeks and invite lapsed viewers to "return home" to "say goodbye to your favorite shows," only, and I mean ONLY, to spark a ratings increase so as to have as many viewers as possible sample the new shows. And I'm sure those last few weeks of the shows will essentally be glorified commercials for the news shows.

What will suck is that All My Children might end at a time when most talk shows are still on hiatus, so we may not get to see La Lucci for example make the talk show rounds to promote the final episodes.

That's a good point. It would be great to see Lucci or MEK one last time talking about their years with the show and what the show has meant to them. I think the best we're gonna get is Kelly R. and Mark C. on "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen the night before the last episode airs LOL.

She is bed-ridden and had begun showing signs of dementia as of a story that was ran in 2008.

Not that it would ever happen, but I'd really like to see Kathleen Noone back as Ellen.

I've loved everything I've seen of the character and Noone's portrayal.

Actually I wouldn't totally count her out. If they get Mark LaMura back, which is a possibility, I could see Noone coming back too. She lives in LA too, which is a bonus. She's definitely more of a possibility than the more or less forgotten characters like Nancy Grant or Benny Sago.

I could see it also. She attended the Paley Center event last year in LA when All My Children celebrated it's 40th Anniversary.
