That's just what I was going to say. The one with Agnes and the cast/creative team in the Llanfair library is also special. A couple of pictures in that set that I'd never seen. And Sadie looks so much softer without her glasses.

I feel bad for Tuc Watkins. Last year at this time he had two shows going. He was on OLTL on a semi-basis and then he had the small role on Desperate Housewives where he was in a few episodes throughout the season. Now he has neither of them. He was on OLTL at the end with "Pa and step Nora" and convinced Matthew to give his baby a chance. There was also a hint of story that he had a baby out there somewhere. If he wanted to, i can see many stories with him involved...without Dorian. There's Viki too that he could have some story with.

He could go on GH but he already played the evil Doctor Pierce Doorman which turned out to be a pretty interesting role with the sexual harresment case and then when Monica got him into a hotel room, tied him up and almost killed him. although i know he was a recast and the first one was the one she actually had the affair with. Tuc came on at the end of the affair when he decided to slap her with the sexual harresment suit.

Yeah, he didn't even try to act those last several years he was on. Granted, Carlivati didn't do him any favors in the writing department.

Does anyone know if Gabrielle ever mentioned Tina after returning in 2001? I was wondering if they ever kept in touch, although I doubt they did given what Gabrielle did after getting caught up with Carlo. I really wish they had brought her back, to see Tina and Gabrielle going at it again would've been amazing.

get aload of Viki at 23:02. this is the second time i've seen her in a hat! That's Dorian's department, before this FABLOUS person released these old Viki scenes from the early 80's, i've never seen her in hats! in a previous video she went to Cassie Callison's graduation and wore a hat too. I watched her almost relgiously for 18 years from the 90's till the end and i never saw her in a hat (except for the time when she drank Dorian's "tea" and tried on Dorian's clothes in 1998.) and the photo i saw from her wedding to Steve Burke.

    • Roger's return storyline may have been silly but Roger's return was what lead to GL's last golden era.  It was the combination of Roger's return and Robert Calhoun becoming EP that got GL to finally hit it's stride after some really bad years. It will always disappoint me that the ratings during Robert Calhoun's run didn't reflect the quality of the show.
    • He also gave some of the best episodes, like the episodes surrounding Doug's death. The problem with Days was that Ron had a horrible vision from he top. I don't feel the same for MVJ and nothing that has happened in all these months suggests she doesn't have a handle on the show. Now if it becomes an issue I'll acknowledge it, but I'm not seeing it so far.
    • Jean Hackney was awful and that lead to Ben's exit story which sucked. I liked Ben/Val together. Val's love for Ben was that of a grown woman moving on with her life and Ben's love for Val made him willingly decide to raise another man's children as his own.
    • It wasn't just a GL thing, it was an 80s thing. Opulent party scenes on soaps were very big back then. Even in regular episodes where people are just going to dinner they're dressed up like they're going to see royalty.
    • Just started the May 27 episode and first thing I see is that Willow got an ugly haircut since hte last time i watched   I dont have the context for how everthing went down but I know its all Lulu's fault which make her a bish for what she did to Gio
    • I'm pretty sure he was. But point taken. GL really had a thing for masked and costumed balls/parties in the '80's. Everyone looks fabulous, but those poor costume designers.
    • Still here ^^ Come on Prime Video, it's due to bring it back!
    • Got through the eighth season, and it was... painful.

    • I agree 100% with both you and Mitch64.  Soaps have been going further and further off-course since 1981. TPTB just don't have a fundamental understanding of what makes soap fans so loyal. I'd love to be on a writing team with both of you.  Maybe we could put together a real soap opera, and show people what its all about...
    • They weren't in town, but Fletcher worked at the paper (and we saw anniversary Journal headlines for the 50th, although I don't remember if Roger was one of them), and I'd think Alex would have at least heard of him due to the damage he did to Spaulding only a few years before her return to the fold. I know I have to remember it's not real life, of course.
