For me, it was probably the last gasp of the great Paul Rauch era. I have some old clippings from magazines and OLTL tied with Y&R for number one in the weekly ratings for the climax of that story. I've seen clips of the story, and it just creeps me out a little, I guess because it's so crazy and then because Tina ended up being pregnant with his child. Some interesting anecdotes, including Lee Warrick (Julie Siegel) claiming that she of all people was poised to potentially return to the show but backed off after 9/11.
