Members Pine Charles
Yeah. Do you remember when Janet drugged him and sent him to California? Well, Harold traveled cross-country on foot (errr... paw), read road signs back to PV, and interrupted a wedding ceremony. Yes, I guess Harold wins. Members SFK
Eva and those tig bitties. I think this was when Rosie O'Donnell mentioned on her show one morning that she saw Nina from AMC at a restaurant the night before and she had a script with her. Someone in the audience chimed in that she was coming back.
Members SFK
The teen scene at this time had a very particular vibe... they seemed decidedly... uncool. Like, the kind of kids... let me phrase this carefully... the kind of kids who lived in certain parts of the county that the kids I went to school with would have said snobby things about because they seemed kinda rural and lame and out of touch (regardless of Cortlandt and Chandler wealth).
Members DRW50
I thought they were very dour and overly earnest and got too much airtime.
Members EricMontreal22
Ha I liked the teen scene at the time--I guess I was 15, though I did find some of the classroom stuff pretty Saved by the Bell--and later was more just into the stuff connected with Kevin. Thanks for posting the episode--I wouldn't have found it on my own.
Members R Sinclair
I know exactly what you mean. I had just turned 17, ironically, prior to this particular episode -- and even then it seemed as if they were a little out of touch. Yes, I'm from Connecticut -- whatever that's supposed to mean -- but I even remember Laura Kirk saying "What is this? Pine Valley, the land time forgot?" and my mother and I both fell out laughing because we'd been thinking the exact same thing about these teens. I remember Anita saying something like "Papa doesn't usually let us watch the rock video stations."

Members DRW50
I loved her at the time. I'd still like to see her as Skye, although that will never happen, unless she befriends JFP.
Members EricMontreal22
I didn't really know the main Skye (I guess technically she was the second?) when Carrie came on-- but I loved her too. I think she's moved back to Vancouver--she was in a series of BC Lottery commercials here...
Members DRW50
The third. She's worked in a fair amount of Canadian-filmed TV. I watched an episode of that Flash Gordon pap to see how she was.
Members EricMontreal22
Yeah I think that was Van based too--I heard somewhere she has a child with special needs which is one reason she doesn't work far from there now. I meant I'd never seen the second one when Carrie came on. For some reason I'm blanking on her name. Robin?
