Sadly outside of the US for now... BeyondTV - has an app and you can watch the 1995 episodes they've released so far for a monthly fee I think. It's been popular from what I hear - started a couple months ago or so.

Primetime stars - Their hits and misses...

I genuinely believe the marriage controversy had very little to do with it - I mean, after the rural purge CBS was kind of courting "controversy" with the Norman Lear shows. It also aired in the same season where Maude had an abortion, so CBS was at that point not trying to be a conservative network even if it's what it's mostly known as today.
TvObscurities actually has a good archive of the 1972-73 ratings. Here's the night where the series finale aired:
All in the Family: 34.0/54
Bridget Loves Bernie: 21.5/33
Mary Tyler Moore: 25.6/41
Bob Newhart: 23.6/33
So by the end of the run, it had cratered to the point Mary Tyler Moore and Bob Newhart was out-rating it. The whole "religious groups got it cancelled" is a good story, but it is just that.

I knew India moved away from Ross before she disappeared, but I couldn't remember if he ever learned about her money troubles.
I also didn't remember the scene with Philip and Annie. I'm surprised the show brought them back together after Rauch quickly killed the pairing building between them.
An Annie return would have made more sense in some of Philip's upcoming storylines (far into the future upcoming...).

It's all so bad. I can't help being a broken record.
As I said yesterday, it's insane to write that everyone is leaving a company at the same time -- all precipitated by another AI program.
We're supposed to believe that the brilliant Lauren Fenmore wouldn't see any of this coming.
And where is Phyllis while her company collapses? Not in her office. Instead she's running from restaurant to bar to restaurant.
NONE of it makes any sense.

I'm not sure his work at Cedars was exactly defined. More of an all around handy man. I think there's a period where he was crushing on Lainie, and he helped set up her rehab equipment after she got out of the hospital (after her accident.) So, stuff like that.
Well, the character of Ed predated the Dobsons. Did they bring on Holly though?
And honestly, the Dobsons were the ones who laid the foundation for Phillip's complicated family history and angst. I'd count him, even if Long is the one who exploded him.
Josh was Marland's creation.
I'd split hairs re: Maureen. She kept the Reardons relevent, via her marriage to Ed and raising Michelle. Nola made the Reardons unforgettable.
