The bookend Rachels have certainly been the best. I wasn't a big fan of Kerry (sp?) but I really wish she and Daphnee DuPlaix had been on at the same time because they are perfectly cast as first cousins.

They even managed to get away with believably de-aging Rachel by about fifteen years, and they still fired Daphne. And there was pretty much only one reason why.

Ellen Bethea is 44, Mari Morrow is 37 and Daphnee Duplaix is 34 which I don't think is a huge stretch for daytime. Bethea was probably playing well under her age considering how old Hilary B. Smith is. I don't think the age was bad for these roles. Just bad casting. Daphnee was incredibly bland.
