Soap Opera Feuds

He said it was because he tried to preach to them.

Kaye Stevens - I haven't seen her game show appearances but I'm not surprised. She seems very fake to me - over and over the soap magazines have this concert photo of her where she seems to be looking up to the heavens, dewy-eyed. It's all very Jimmy Swaggart meets Sweeney Sisters.

Wasn't there a claim that she punched Susan Seaforth when they were in the ladies room or backstage or something?

That was probably another reason why.

What did he preach to them?? 100 ways to steal your co-star from her husband??

Now they are in each others faces.....lol

Forgot where I read it, but they did not get along. Here's a snippet from some interview she gave. This is pretty tame. I think any animosity may have been more on Aleksander's side than Evans'.

"Evans is diplomatic on the subject of working on GL with Aleksander: "Grant Aleksander and I are very different. Very different personalities. I don't know about him, but I was very young at the time and didn't know how to speak my mind as well as I do now."

I also read that she didn't get along with Vincent or Grant back when she was on GL. It's so hard to believe, because you watch their scenes (Judi with Grant and with Vincent) and there is such a sweetness and a tenderness, and there seems to be such a connection there, that to read they didn't get along - it's shocking to me, but in most of their interviews from those times, it's mentioned that there is "no love lost" between Judi and Grant and/or Vincent.

Recently, Judi has done radio interviews and talks about how she LOVES everyone and how she loved working with Grant and with Vincent, that they were all great to work with and what an amazing time it was, so time heals...but back then they all made it sound...well, not great at all.

I've always heard that Austin Peck was disliked by a lot of his fellow cast members on DAYS.

I think this was more so during his second stint. He had "found" God and wouldn't shut up about it. Ironic now since he broke up TC and his own marriage.

I have to say, I don't believe the Lynn Herring stuff at all. I know she's still BFF with Kin Shriner.

Tony Geary on Lynn Herring

"She's such fun--and an utter professional. The work she turns out is consistently terrific--and she's so beautiful. Luke looks at Lucy as his second daughter. There's an attraction to her that he doesn't want to deal with because he's a happily married man and all, so the way he handles it is to protect her like he would a daughter. I prefer the goofy Lucy, the sillier she is, the more fun I have with her. I think if there was ever anybody in town that Luke would actively go after if he weren't married, it would have to be Lucy."http://www.mcamy.net/geary/quotes/geary6.html

He took her to the Emmys in 2002

Stuart Damon on Lynn Herring

CBS.com: So tell me about Ralph - what's his agenda for being in Oakdale?

STUART DAMON: His plan is that he knew Audrey, played by the stunning Lynn Herring - and he has to launder all this money and he doesn't want to do it in a big place and Audrey recommends he works with her son, Henry - played by the fabulous Trent Dawson.

CBS.com: What's it been working with Lynn again?

STUART DAMON: Lynn and I have a great relationship and we work the same way. I mean we haven't seen each other for several years. The great thing I found that worked out that when you trust each other, the way I trust Lynn you don't have to be right on with all your lines and you can just let go and know that the other actor in the scene will be there to support you.

In Depth: Is there a female character on the show, past or present, that you could see your character having a fling with?

Tony Geary: For Luke, Lucy Coe. We almost did a while back. Lynn Herring and I were good together, too. Actually, there've been a lot of women that Luke would have been interested in, but Laura has been his heart and soul.

Steve Burton: Acting with Lynn Herring would be great.

Tony Geary: As I recall, we laughed a lot. She's fantastic.

Have you stayed in contact with anyone from “General Hospital”?

Brad Maule: Stuart Damon (Alan) and I speak occasionally and through him I hear about Leslie (Charleston, Monica), and Tony Geary (Luke), and Kin Shriner (Scott). I haven’t seen Kin Shriner in years, but if I had to make a list of the top people I cared about, he would be in the top 5 or 6. I would have to say that I miss all my “wives" on GH - Hilary Edson, Lynn Herring, and Jackie Zeman. They were all good friends of mine, and not many days go by that I don't think about them and all the good times we had. My children still miss Jackie's sweet kids. I love the people at “General Hospital.” There are certain people that will forever be friends of mine whether they know it or not (laughs).

Also, I have the tape of the 1996 SOD Awards when Lynn Herring won Hottest Female Star and Vanessa Marcil, Rena Sofer, and Ingo Rademacher were going nuts when she won. They were all sitting at the same table and when her name was announced they kept screaming "You go Lynn!" and she was laughing at them during her speech because they all kept screaming for her.

I Wish Lynn Was Still On Daytime. She Seems To Be A Classy Lady

It was the first as I remember him talking about it in the late 90s. Complete with photo of him praying.

More on Wendy Richard and EastEnders. Wendy and Bill Treacher (Arthur Fowler) couldn't stand one another. Wendy was apparently filled with joy when she heard he was leaving the show in 1996.

Barbara Windsor wasn't the only one Jessie Wallace had a run-in with during her first stint on the show. She also had reported problems with Steve McFadden (Phil) Lucy Benjamin (Lisa), Elaine Lordan (Lynne) Hannah Waterman (Laura). I remember one Daily Mail article in the early 00's that said the only reason the BBC didn't fire her during this time was because she had become too vital to the show, and in fact, there were reports that a lot of the cast were jealous of the attention and storylines she got during those years.

Elaine Lordan had problems too on set and was a raging alcoholic during her time on the show. She apparently told Mal Young (the then head of Continuing Drama for the BBC) to "[!@#$%^&*] off" at a party and was fired soon afterwards.

That's ironic, since Wendy never stopped believing that Pauline could only ever love Arthur.

The Eastenders cast also loathed Kathleen Hutchison, their producer for a few months in 2004/2005. They cheered when she was fired.

Other feuds:

James de Paiva/Linda Gottlieb (supposedly he threw a chair and another time reduced her to tears)

Kim Zimmer/Pam Long (at one point they were forced to go to a meal together and were so nasty to each other that the executive with them left the table to be sick)

Weren't there rumors that Hannah Waterman was unpleasant to a lot of people?

I've heard that too, but I know she's good friends with Letitia Dean, and the two were photographed together last year.

he tried to preach to them, yet had a sleazy affair with a married woman? Please tell me his role on OLTL is minor, even though he acts like it is the most important role in the history of Daytime TV

This was about ten years apart, but still, it is hypocritical.

Kim Onasch played Jennifer. She didnt get along with Todd Rotondi or Colleen Zenk.

At this point, I don't think anyone got along with Colleen Zenk...except maybe Mark Pinter...and we all know how that turned out.
