In TV Guide it says Cane's funeral will air mid February, I thought it was confirmed his exit wasn't true after all??

I presume Cane's death is faked. How many of these has MAB written for Y&R now

^^ Seriously, MAB has gone to the well too many times in the last 18 months with faked deaths. Adam, Chance and Skye have all faked their deaths and now Cane is added to the list. Why doesn't MAB get some new ideas?

Hahah, that's like asking why doesn't a compulsive gambler stop gambling. She just can't help herself; and she doesn't even try. She's got these "forms" that she thinks work and she keeps replaying them hoping we are stupid enough not to notice.

So his death is a fake? Cause TV Guide even snarked on that with "Those kooky Y&R writers just love fake deaths" LOL

I don't know, I sort of think Cane's death is going to be for real.

What sucks is the 1 death I absolutely did NOT want faked- Brad's- they showed him, face and all, stuck beneath an icy pond.

LOL to be fair the blind items always said Daniel Goddard was promised a return as a twin, so it's possible Cane IS dead. We'll see if they tie this to Ronan needing a new liver. If so then he's truly dead. What we're waiting to see is if the show keeps their word on Cane's twin. I think that's where the debate is.

Because this show desperately needs another doppelganger.

After all the flack they got last year for them, they'll be fools to do it again. Just ridiculous, they must be writing Cane off for a reason. Stick with it, don't just create another role because you feel bad for the actor. If he returns we'll know thats the only reason and that'll make him pathetic IMO.

Allegedly it was because the writers got tired of writing for Lane but they couldn't break them up because their fans wouldn't accept them with anyone else. So they'll kill him off instead because they couldn't get away with killing her off last year. It says a lot when they were willing to kill her first.
