That is true which is why I thought it was weird when they finally had their face-off in 2009 because it was like the roles were switched. Stefano was the fast and effective one by having Philip shot while Victor was the James Bond villain that held Stefano captive and taunted Elvis about it.

This Brady stuff is just too over the top and extreme for he. He is so unlikeable with little redeeming qualities. Please get rid of him

Taylor is an Emily clone and I HATED Emily. She is coming across as too much of a goody goody and holier than thou

Fake masks are classic DiMera. Andre had a Roman mask when he was the Salem Slasher. One of Stefano's men in Paris had a mask to look like the police that was helping John. Stefano put a Peter mask on Daniel Scott to fake Peter's death.

When Jack escaped from the castle in early 2005 he made it back to Salem (after spending weeks on a ferry off-screen) and reunited with Jennifer. He felt something was different with her (not when they were having sex though), and asked her to do her "thing". We found out that Jennifer's thing was to move her hair in a certain way. Jen didn't know what Jack was talking about so Jack realized it wasn't Jen. So she pulled off her mask and held Jack at gunpoint. He fought her off and tried to leave just as Andre and Bart showed up. Jack was taken back to the castle in Europe.

@008-2010 was the best DAYS had been in a very, very long time.

However, 2010-Now? Eh... its just boring. in the past when it was this bad it was a so bad its good thing, now its just... there. However, i am pretty sure there are big shakeups behind the scenes going on and hope it settles soon and the show can get on track again.

I know that you are big on Dee, and i love her and i do miss her and Marlena both, however i honestly feel firing her was the best decision. It opened the show up and forced them to use Lauren, Joe, John, and Suzanne. The only moment that Marlena was NEEDED for too was when Sami lost Grace, but i do not feel it hurt the story by her not being there. But then again, different stroke for different folks.

There have been times in the past when it was bad but it was never boring. Now it's both.

Joe, Lauren and John were used before that. Victor used to be one of my favorites but I hate the writing for him now. The only time I liked him under this regime was during the war with the DiMeras in 2009 but even then he was written out of character like I said in another post.

Stefano is either a prop in the EJ/Nicole/Sami/Rafe mess or we see him with Kate and I absolutly hate them as a couple. I don't care how good Joe and Lauren work together, I will never get behind that pairing.

Kate I liked the best in 1998-2002. Haven't liked her at all since 2004 except her thing with John.

Never liked Maggie.

I feel similarly. I was a Marlena fan from way back, but it became clear that Days was glutted with its superstars from the past sleepwalking through the same brainchip SLs. When John died and Marlena taunted/enticed Stefano, there was a moment when I thought they would transition her into Stefano's nemesis and his equal. Then they wimped out and we know what happened next.

I could honestly see Marlena coming back but as Maggie's peer, her friend, interacting with the Victor, Stefano, Kate crowd. What I love, though, is that they brought the Kiriakises back to the fore (I have always loved this family), grounded the Di Meras (to a certain extent) as their rival feudal family, reawoke the Hortons and streamlined the Bradys. Do I still have issues with the show? Sure. But I am more hopeful that it can right some of its current wrongs than, say, Y&R or GH right now which are hot tranny messes that have fallen down wells and are unable to get out.

Eric Martsolf plays Brady like a complete joke, everything he says even when it's supposed to come off serious, seems like it's a joke. I keep waiting for him to bust out laughing to cap off each scene of his. I do not like what he & the writing has turned Brady into. I find Brady to be a very annoying character this time around & wouldn't mind if he left and never came back.

Taylor just gets worse and worse ohmy.gif I am literally still shocked at what I'm seeing NL put out with each episode, I know people think of this as her "usual" acting way, but on GH I really thought she was different and I loved her and now I just think things have changed and she's increasingly becoming more hard to watch.

So glad to see Chad as a DiMera appears to finally be moving at a little bit faster than a snail's pace...I had to laugh because this is DAYS when E.J. referred to Chad as his little brother, as well they've shown Chad's birth certificate and he was technically born I think 7 or 8 years before good ol Elvis.
