I would like to know if anyone knows where I could find the episodes of the GOTHIC storyline about Olympia Buchanan's imprisonment by Asa that culminated in the masquerade party and Olympia's death (The party lasted one month!!!!)or more information about this storyline!!

What time in 1981 did this air?

I can't remember if it was on here or at the now defunct WoST where someone posted several pictures from an article about the masquerade. I realize that's not video, but. I believe this was also the introduction of Cassie, someone mentioned her (in masque) seeing Dorian from across the room and saying, "So that's her." Does this all sound familiar to anyone?

The ball happened in December 1981.

I'm not sure I have any stuff from that specific time unfortunately, but Goldensoaps, I do have one from January 1982 (which would be around November 1981 I guess?) and early March 1982 (which would be January 1982?) and I can scan some of that if you wish.

Even with masks, the height difference between Sam and Olympia is evident.

It's always strange seeing Phyllis Behar as Anna because I mostly just have seen her in her Digest column. I don't remember ever hearing about Anna doing anything when Behar was there.

I guess this Rafe/Cassie friendship went nowhere? He looks so young here...

Seeing Lillian Hayman as the Statue of Liberty is sweet and also in some ways subversive.

Whatever happened to Rafe they never talk about him anymore wasn't he related to the Buchanan's ?

WOW!!! Thanks for the comments and for the articles!!! They are awesome....In fact I have just found (in the youtube) probably the only scenes about the Masquerade party that exist!!! The moment that Nicole/ Olympia shoots Asa!!!

In the web of OLTL Laberynth , it says that Nicole Bonard/ Olympia died on 30 october 1981, so I guess that the masquerade Party happened in October, not in December!!!What do you think??

This doesn't really help much, especially compared to what was already posted, but I found one recap I have which covers some of the end of the event. March 2, 1982 Digest recap.

It's weird how they bill Christine Jones like the part is hers for keeps.

I've also seen that in other magazines from around this time. I'm not sure if it's because of the length of the stay (how long was it?) or they were trying to send Erika a message...
