Members DRW50
I just read about this as I looked up Josh McDermitt's name to see if he was on Twin Peaks. Jeez. This is why I avoid most social media. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv/walking-dead-josh-mcdermitt-quits-social-media-threats-article-1.3145611

Members YRBB
A Walking Dead stuntman suffers serious injuries on set and production is temporarily shut down. The AMC statement actually used the word 'tragic' accident. Scary stuff!
Members YRBB
In other news, Frank Darabont's, the show's first showrunner up until his firing mid-Season 2, profane emails to his Walking Dead co-workers come to light during ongoing lawsuit.
Members Vee
Here's a longer account. AMC is obviously trying to paint Darabont as a tyrant, and there's no denying he can be and was demanding and crude. But his behavior is also not that uncommon for TV showrunners, and AMC had been nickel and diming the show from Day 1. Darabont was also not the last showrunner to enter into conflict with Robert Kirkman. I think TWD only improved post-Darabont and that is his run is often overrated, but I also think denying his immense contribution to its foundation is unfair. Even more from Variety. Woo! Yeah, 'burning down their homes' is a bit much. Edited July 14, 2017 by Vee

Members DRW50
How terrible. I think I often take for granted how dangerous these stunts are.
Members YRBB
So sad! This was him. He fell 20 feet off a balcony onto concrete floor. Poor man. These stuntpeople do so much and make it look so easy, but it's at constant risk.

Members YRBB
The premiere was really good. Some great Andrew Lincoln stuff, even if I'm not 100% sure how I feel about the flash-forward. Then again, considering the theme of hope and getting back to being yourself, and fighting for something, it fit. They had a strong sense of hope for the future, of people coming together and making it work. Gabriel getting stuck with Negan was a great twist. I'm curious to see what they did with that.
