They've tried to revisit Marlena/Roman a good 2-3 times since Josh Taylor took over the role, and it's always been a dud. And they do interact with warmth and familiarity these days. But it's really tough to buy these two as ever having been some grand, passionate love story.

It's a mess & weird & uncomfortable. They never should have cast Josh as Roman. Tons of people still to this day are mentally saying, "Why is Chris Kosichek serving chowder in the Brady Pub?"

Josh Taylor's recast as roman Brady is just off. not working. never did. can't believe he's around since 1997.. he is not roman!!!

I have absolutely no memory of Ben at this time. Ben & Addie are so contentious with Mickey & they are very hard on Julie but she is behaving like a brat.

Alice refers to Tommy as "Danny" in that second scene, I think! I didn't realize that name ever made it to air.

"She was one of my best friends," says Witz, emphasizing the past tense. Although the two parted ways, Witz has fond memories of Chappell, the days before Carly became a star on "Days." She describes Chappell as "very engaging, compassionate. She liked an ugly dog." The roommates landed parts on "Days" about the same time, but Chappell's was destined to become a major role. Witz thinks success spoiled Chappell.

She hit it off however, with Michael Sabatino, the character Lawrence Alamain whom Carly loathed.

Chappell now has a serious off-screen relationship with Sabatino. Witz said he's "a real sweetheart"

I consider her a good friend. And, I know simply tons of people who have nothing BUT nice things to say about her. Well, they also say things about her talent, as an actress, a writer, a producer, etc. I guess I could sum up by saying they say nice things & excellent things, not just "nice".

I'm glad to hear that. I guess I was just a little surprised that what would seem to have been a puff piece would take such a turn.
