Lord..she was terrible on ATWT (though a lot of people liked her..) I would dread her scenes of sloowww talking and then spitting everything out..if she had a scene with Lily talking about Lily's problems the world "literally" stopped..uggh.

However, I have to say that Tremors is a cult classic and is actually good, it is in on the joke without being super campy and Carter is also actually good in it..as her character is no damsel in distress.

Count me in too as a Craig and Sierra fan!

No, I missed it!  I had something unexpected come up and I wasn't able to see it live. I'm going to watch it later tonight.

Alan's stream count has gone down. He's not a very good interviewer. Some have just lost interest or too busy to watch them anymore.

Even when he has guests I am excited about seeing, I have to be honest, because of his manner of conducting these discussions, I lose interest pretty quickly unless the guests take over the conversation and relegate him to the sidelines. It’s a struggle for me to watch his videos. I still have not watched the recent video featuring Melanie’s interview. And the clips he uses are in a total state of deterioration.

I'm torn about my opinion of Alan.  I agree, he is not a very good interviewer and he has some bad interviewing habits he needs to rid himself of.  BUT, at least he has this podcast and is able to attract the big names we all love.  Nobody else seems to be stepping up to the plate.  So I try to be generally supportive of him and his podcast.  Is it perfect?  Far from it.  But look at all the wonderful guests he has had.  He has coaxed a lot of our old favorites out of retirement to spend an hour with us.

Frankly, I'm not surprised that interest in "The Locher Room" is waning.  Like y'all said, he's just not very good at interviewing people.  Plus, it seems like for every interesting guest he does land, such as Steven Weber, he gets twice as many return guests; and honestly, in most of those cases, there's nothing more to talk about after their initial appearances.

We've been talking about him having low view counts for years, so I guess them falling further isn't a surprise. I think he had a brief buzz during the pandemic but frankly I'm surprised and somewhat impressed he is even still hanging on.

At least one positive of needing viewer engagement is he used that hot photo of Scott Bryce as bait.

(Steven too but he's never really done anything for me, although he was fun on Wings, at times)

Hey, we all like what we like. I'm a Katie fan and Lord knows I'm basically the only one on here. LOL

I'll agree that for many Tremors is a cult classic. I know so many people who love it. It was just never a favorite of mine. My cult classic is Clue: The Movie but that's another one that is controversial. Either you love it or you hate it!

Your comment about Sierra and Lily is hilarious. Although I eventually grew to love Lily (in that way like I have friends I love but who can really get on my nerves sometimes) but teenage Lily was somewhat a little too much.

    • I don't think Lois the character was there.  The Lois we knew from the 90s has pretty much died with this  Gio story crap.
    • Have to agree re MM. The goody two shoes character and writing doesn't help but maybe a more dynamic actor would help Brandon lift his game also. I found the song sequence a little OTT. First of all it should have been shorter and maybe the song fades out and just some music to accompany the montage. I think it would have worked better if Anita had have been alone after everyone left and started tinkling leading into the song, with Vernon coming in observing and then joining her for  a close moment. Everyone standing around felt a little too much. And that closing effect with the two blackscreens meeting was unnecessary. Just a fade out would have been enough.

    • And sadly I think that’s the trivia Both Jeanne Cooper and Eric Braeden went with for years and years. Lol
    • But people were hating so bad on amc and the final year and the ratings sucked. Business wise they made the right call. Oltl who even gained some ratings back and weren’t they higher as GH at one point is a decision and never understood.
    • Ann Williams was the first Maggie Powers on The Doctors but left to have a baby. Maggie was successfully recast so Ann picked up the role of Eunice (Jo's sister on Search for Tomorrow) and played that role for 10 years before being killed of in 1976. That led to her role of Margo on EON.
    • Looking at those totals it seems most contract actors are on a 1 or 2 week average guarantee. I assume contracts are still operating on 13 week cycles so you would have to know the particular actors contract starting date to work out their guarantee. The question remains as to what actors listed as contract are actually recurring? Bryton ?
    • Yep, that scene was at the conclusion of the Derek Thurston vs George Packard storyline, when Kay decided neither of them should run Chancellor.  By the time she put Victor in charge, Victor had been on the show for months & months with his Rolls Royce, his ranch, and Newman Enterprises.  SONY released some Y&R "trivia cards" in the late 1980s, and one of the questions was "who brought Victor Newman to Genoa City?" The answer on the back of the card is "Kay Thurston, to run Chancellor Industries", and it's a wrong answer lol.
    • I think someone said it did exist, but I can't remember.
    • The bit with the scarf reminds me of the fabled stuffed animal scene with Rick and Phillip. (That wasn't debunked, was it?)
