Yaya was a hot mess, but I really think the ball has been dropped on Cassandra. She should definitely be around.... but with Natalia here... I doubt that will happen. Shannon Kane really should have been Cassandra, because in the end the whole 2nd family for Jesse really REALLY fell flat.

Dre and Natalia would have made a pretty awesome couple. Sucks that Sterling had to work across Yaya's voice and etc... he had more chemistry w/ both versions of Colby and Corrina than her.

!!!! That's ridiculous. A PTSD storyline would be great, too. Do we know if they taped the stuff and it's just edited out or is it being cut after the writing process?

If it made the spoliers it must have been taped right? Not sure when and who sends out the spoliers.

Natalia should have never been created, and Shannon should have been cast as Cass.

Agreed, I swear Dre/Cass could've been a new age version of Angie/Jesse if Cass were casted right, if SK were casted back then to play Cass, they'd be a strong couple.

I hated Cassandra when she was here but I think it had more to to with the actress and the bad writing. Considering she was only on for 3 months, she didnt really get much time to be fleshed out. I think she could work now with someone new in the role. id be willing to give a recast a chance

I wish Sterling could have done those scenes w/ Shannon Kane, would have been completely different. I would have actually paid attention to the tension between Cass/Angie/Jesse and rooted for her RL.

Speaking of scenes being cut. The whole spolier about Opal warning David soemthing bad was going to happen to him yesterday never happened either.

Someone might be interfering with the new writers already?

The show really doesn't to have a single vision , it's all over the place.

When Mctavish ,B&E and Pratt were writing good or for bad(mostly bad) the show had a vision.

Right now it just feels like scenes cobbled together.

Re: Brot. They're really editing out all his stuff? Wow. That explains, then, why my onscreen TV Guide thingy had a little blurb about him for today's episode: "Brot shuts down." Granted, I didn't see the whole episode, but what was he supposed to "shut down?" His computer?

 "Monday: Brot reboots and runs McAfee. Natalia has trouble with wireless connection."

Hmmm. I like the idea of Natalia though and she seems more age appropriate as Jesse's daughter during that time away, too old for Cassie. I also like that she makes the family larger even if Cassie is off the canvas. Personally, not a big fan of YaYa, I agree with the recasting of Cassie and bringing her back.

The guide on my tv said "breakdown" He never had one of those either.

Yeah, and I was looking forward to the Brot storyline, too :(

Maybe it's on Monday cause of the pre-emption? Doubt it, though

I think she was meant to be there longer.

I don't.

They brought Rebecca & Natalia on to ruin Jesse & torpedo The Hubbards.

J/A were only lucky because Darnell & Debbi are such pro's.

It's been downhill ever since.

but that storyline could have been quite compelling.

It SO could have.

AMC had two soap legends (Darnell & Debbi), a well liked soap vet (Laura), two rising young stars with crazy amounts of potential (Cornelius & Shannon), an extremely impressive newcomer (JR) & two other characters that would be fine with recasts (Cassie & Randi).

Yet it was ALL dealt with in the span of less than 6 months.

And people still roll their eyes when these types of facts are brought up.

Daytime is so fucked, I tell ya.

I like the idea of Natalia

SK brings so much to the character beyond the token crap AMC gives her.

She has an inner strength & resolve that shines regardless of how much AMC takes her for granted.

She's always reminded me of a young Tamara Tunie.
