LOL.

And @ Carl, I mean people are always going to want to know what's up with celebrities, so that could work in its favor. And not just gossip, but I mean a serious music forum as well to discuss charts and what not. I use to post at a music board that had lots of members Even start appealing more to primetime fans, and post articles on tv ratings, I dont know.. I just think if its wants to continue past soaps it should take on the whole spectrum of entertainment news: gossip, music, movies, television, etc.

Personally, I think SON will be one of the last to go. I can think of a number of other sites/sources that will cease to exist long before this one. The fact that Branco is covering Corrie St. makes me think he's desperately trying to remain relevant.

I just wonder how long before the Daytime Emmys become the Talk Show Awards. What other award has to worry about running out of potential competitors? At this rate, the Webbys will have more juice than the Emmys.

Although threads do get repeated here sometimes, there always seems to be something interesting that pops up from time to time that keep things going. The board will have something to talk about until all the daily soaps are gone, which will probably be sometime between 2014 and 2018.

Wow, you guys are making it seem like we own certain long-running soap operas and want out of the soap business. Sounds familiar for some reason ;).

On the topic at hand, you'll be happy to know that I had already secured the website domain through 2018. We have a long ways to go before that time, so there is no need to worry about us and whether or not we'll still be around. Otherwise, I'm sure we'll never run out of things to discuss on the message boards, even when many of our soaps are over and done with (which I don't believe they will be - they will just come in different forms).

I'm also pleased to announce that we'll be launching our first sister website very soon and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.
