Members R Sinclair
It was a stuffed interview, given the appearance of looking live. Kind of a Roy Rogers/Trigger thing.
Members Cheap21
LMAO! I wonder if Lucci actually requested this. It was campy and take. Wendy has had pretaped segments on her show before and she will usually say so, but she just went with this one and acted like it was100% live as opposed to pretaped. I love the pauses in between the two women talking to each other and Susan repeating her questions...lol
Members SFK
"LMAO! I wonder if Lucci actually requested this." I was trying to be charitable, but the thought definitely crossed my mind. And you just know Wendy turned to her audience at the commercial break and cracked on that fake set-up. Jonathan, your avatar got a shoutout. I love how she played it all cagey, like we don't know that Erica Kane has had some hair clipped up in that head.
Members AllMyDaysatGH
Wow, there was a LOT of Marissa in the ep. Didn't mind her to much, though. I think she interacts well with David, I just wish she would stop crying all the time. Good scenes with Krystal, to. Also the JR\Krystal scene was great, I like how she's not fully mad at JR like David was. Anyone else think Greenlee didn't really take the pregnancy test?? It didn't actually show her doing it, she just told David she was going to do it, then next scene she came down the stairs and told David she wasn't pregnant. I don't think she took it, and this issue will resurface soon. Just my prediction that I hope is true Love Ryan and Annie being civil with each other...finally some Ryan\Annie scenes, these two should interact more. Members Jonathan
I heard that. But in my avatar pic, I don't think she has extensions. There is a pic in the actual mag where she has gigantic hair. I think that's what she was referring to. ETA: OK, maybe she has extensions in my avatar pic. But there's another one where she has Rapunzel's hair.

Members jfung79
I said I would start watching AMC again with Kreizman/Swajeski's first episode, so I just watched this online. I have to admit, I nearly gave up in the first seven minutes because there were too many what I perceived to be overacting, overly beautiful actresses. I guess I have been spoiled by the more toned-down, relatable P&G style. But I'm glad I stuck it out because I ended up pretty interested by the end of the episode and will definitely keep watching. I last watched AMC in 2002, when my other favorite writer besides David Kreizman, Richard Culliton, left, so I was struggling to figure out who everyone was. Tad, Ryan, Greenlee, and David were lifelines. I also knew Jacob Young was JR. But I didn't realize at first the woman who came in to evict Annie (whoever she was) was supposed to be Liza. I was glad to see Stephanie Gatschet because I knew her from GL, but I had no idea who her character was (later found out she was named Madison) and who she was talking to (a Hubbard apparently?). I liked that there seemed to be some kind of mystery with Madison and I didn't know whose side she was really on. What, she killed her husband, what? I was shocked to discover that the whiny law student girl, who I ended up liking by the end of the episode and knowing her name was Marissa, was David's daughter. I intend to do research into the characters soon but I want to approach this fresh for a little while to see what my first impressions are. I really loved Greenlee and David's fight about children, and eventual making up, as well as David's interaction with Marissa where he was concerned for her but she felt he was controlling her. David Hayward is still one of the most fascinating, complex AMC characters -- just like when I was watching (I was a big David and Anna fan, though mostly because of Anna). It is also good to see Greenlee still has her independent, fiery streak too. I haven't read anything about what happened to where Adam ended up out of town with Brooke, but it was interesting to see JR talking with Krystal (?) about it. Jacob Young frankly looks gross but I could see his pain about his dad not even mentioning him to Liza. I guess Krystal is Marissa's mother ... I found Marissa's hostility to her motherly concern interesting. As usual with soaps, the most fascinating scenes for me are family interaction scenes. Annie and Ryan have a daughter named Emma? This kept making me think of GL's Emma, LOL, and I bet Kreizman/Swajeski did at least a little too. I know Cameron Mathison is not perceived to be a great actor, but I have to say, compared to the rest of the cast, male and female, he came off pretty good this episode. I liked him, as well as the character of Ryan, when I was watching before too. I thought Annie's reaction to the mugger at the end was funny! It was good to see the stories interconnected. There were no "island stories" that didn't interact with others.

Members Juliajms
I'm finding Madison much more likable than Tammy, that is for sure. Yes, Randi is a Hubbard she's Frankie's wife. Speaking of Randi, I think DV is doing a better job with her line delivery lately. No, I'm not suggesting she be nominated for an Emmy, I'm just saying I see an improvement from when she first started.
Members SFK
I agree that she's getting better, I just resent that she was given months of chance to get it together based solely on her looks.
Members R Sinclair
I do, too. The charlatan who was passing himself off as her "acting coach" in New York City should be commended for bilking her out of cash for so long... and then be shot for making her think WE needed the results of his non-coaching skills thrust upon us. Exactly. Not only that, but given a shioad of story last summer, too.
Members alexisfan07
Yes, she's better, but without a story, she's still as dull as dishwater. I don't really resent them pimping her on us. She's gorgeous so it was to be expected. What I DO resent is that Cornelius is sitting on the sideline. In no universe should she appear twice as much as him. It's not even about her acting at this point. It's about the fact that he's Frankie Hubbard and she's the ex-hooker named Randi. Enough said. Please give them a storyline, writers.
