Congratulations to Molly Burnett (Melanie), Crystal Chappell (Carly), Shelley Hennig (Stephanie), Dylan Patton (ex-Will), James Scott (EJ) and Arianne Zucker (Nicole) on being nominated! "Days" is also nominated in the casting director, hairstyling, original song and technical direction/electronic camera/video control categories. "Days" has now received 192 overall Daytime Emmy nominations in its history. The winners will be announced on Sunday night, June 27, 2010 on CBS. Chappell is nominated as lead actress for her role as Olivia Spencer on "Guiding Light." It is her 6th nomination for that role, having previously won for supporting actress in 2002. Scott is nominated in the lead actor category. Zucker is nominated in the supporting actress category. Burnett and Hennig are nominated in the younger actress category. Patton is nominated in the younger actor category. It is the first-ever nominations for Burnett, Hennig, Patton, Scott and Zucker. Executive producer Ken Corday is nominated for the 19th time overall (10 times as a composer, 9 times as a producer), having previously won as a composer in 1990 and 1997. Composer D. Brent Nelson is nominated for the seventh time, having previously won in 1997. Marnie Saitta is nominated for her second year in a row as casting director. J.D. Webb is nominated for the first time as the lyricist for the song "Captured", which was aired on episode # 10998 (1/16/09) during a Daniel/Chloe scene. Technical directors Michael Caruso and John C. O'Neill, hairstylist Margie Puga and cameramen Michael Mecartea and John Sizemore have received their 4th nominations. Hairstylist Kim Salvatore has received her 3rd nomination. Hairstylist Matthew Holman and camerman Bill Scott have received their 2nd nominations. Receiving their first-ever nominations for "Days" are hairstylists Patrick Kilian and Katharine O'Neill, cameraman Hugo Morelli, and video tape operators Alexis Dellar Hansen and Ken Williamson.
