Members SFK
Memo to AMC: I would have liked Damon even if you didn't make his father a monster. Who behind the scenes over there has daddy issues? This has become a very tired plot device for AMC. Ryan, Erica, Greenlee, Madison, now Damon (who have I missed?), I'm sick of fathers being bashed to drum up (imo unneeded) sympathy for characters on this show. It's too easy, too uncreative. "Make me" like a character through his or her actions, not by explaining away the assholeishness with bad parenting.
Members R Sinclair
I agree. Wholeheartedly. Paul Miller (I LOL every time I hear that name because that's the name of the dealership I bought my car) was written WAY over the top. However, I'm just glad "Adoption is EVIL" has taken a backseat. Members Jonathan
I know Agnes Nixon has mentioned her issues with her father; her parents divorced when she was young. She must be ghost-writing again
Members Cheap21
well todays show was boring. Oh and there goes my theory about Madison working for David. Its either Zach or some new person from Ryan's past
Members Steve
Yeah, they did go overboard with Paul Miller. It doesn't help that the show is trying to explain most of his assholeishness with ADHD and making his father so cruel just feels like overkill. For once, I'd like to see someone's father be distant without being evil. I wish they hadn't spoiled who AmandaFan is in the promos, too. As along as it's not Jonathan, I'll be okay with it. I don't suppose there's any chance Gillian didn't die?
Members Jonathan
No it's not me she's calling.
Members Juliajms
Yep. Most of that put me to sleep. Yeah, you were wrong about Madison and David working together from the beginning of her wanting to work at the casino, but it looks like you were still on the right track. Now David has her right where he wants her. She needs money and David has something to hold over her head.
Members AllMyDaysatGH
Erica and Jackson had dinner at ConFusion....but when she went to his office later on, she said "before you left BJ's" KWAK and Jackson aren't that bad together, I kind of like them. KWAKerJack, anyone? LOL Liza was cracking me up when she found Damon and Colby lounging in the park. I loved when Colby told her that they never took a sip of the beers, and liza was like, "huh, you wanted to just water the flowers?". Liza was being to serious with the beers though, uhm you poured them into a trashcan, you should have noticed that they were full and that they didn't drink anything! I did like how Liza mentioned to Damon how alcoholism runs in Colby's family, though. AMC has been adding a lot of social issues that are out there into it's story lines and dialogue. The texting while driving, nude modeling, etc. And then today Natalia started lecturing Amanda about how every year over a million women are stalked in the U.S. alone. Members R Sinclair
I don't think Madison is working with anybody from Ryan's past or anything like that. I think it was just setting up Madison's need for money and a second job, Greenlee's insistence that she solely remain at Fusion, and David finding this information out so he can use it to his advantage. Members Jonathan
The scenes must've been shot on different days.
Members Jonathan
Natalie Hall's voice annoys me much more than Eden Riegel's when she first started
