Wonder what exactly the "pay off" is. I really like Cris and Layla and I find myself rooting for them while Jessica pins after Cris. However, I am enjoying this storyline. They can go anyway - make Cris/Layla stronger or begin a new relationship with Brody.

I like the idea of Brayla---if they get together, it'll be easier to write them out and have them ride off into the sunset.

Well I used to love them but it seems like a waste. I don't think Layla will survive past the month. I guess I'm worried they won't do anything for her and I don't believe they plan to give her a payoff.

It is not about what we'd rather see. I think Layla will ride off into the sunset after propping Messica (love that name) and she probably dies after holding Messica hostage. Then Cris will prop Messica when she gets back with Brody. They'd be idiots to try Cris with Jessica when they are this bad before they start.

Hilarious. It is only a matter of time before they out Layla. The actress use to annoy me, but she has grown and I can now see her talent or would if I was still watching OLTL.
