April 14, 201015 yr Member I take offense to that! I've watched ATWT for 30 plus years and TPTB after Marland and Co. treated the show like s h i t! Don't go blaming me for the demise of soaps. The only ones responsible for the demise are the HW's who wrote s h i t and the EP's who let this s h i t writing continue!! It could hardly be more true. Marland's death was the worst thing that ever happened to soap opera, at least in the 20+ years I've been watching.
April 14, 201015 yr Author Member I agree with the anger towards P&G i just dont understand why more people arent pissed at CBS...I dont see anyone saying they wont watch any new CBS shows, even though THEY'RE the ones who cancelled the show....

Umm...I havent watched the lame ass LMAD that replaced GL. I've posted that on the game show thread..and I wont see Pyramid 1,000000000 version either....
April 14, 201015 yr Member I liked Syder Games why MTV didn't do anythnig with that soap. Even if This new spanish soap doesn't do will it can always go to one of the Latin MTV channel to finish airing. I think I'll apss on this project. I stop wathcing MTV for awhile. & I'm not going to start over this.
April 14, 201015 yr Member Why should we mad at CBS? They gave GL & ATWT more chances than any other network would have. The blame lies solely on P&G for not getting rid of Wheeler, Kreizman, Goutman, and Passanante.

April 15, 201015 yr Member Here is Washington Post article with more info on this new telenovela and P&G: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/04/12/AR2010041203662.html I really like the interactive aspect of the telenovela. Suggesting plot twists and story direction using Twitter and Facebook is a good way to hook the younger audience. I can see why P&G and other advertisers would be attracted to this project.
April 15, 201015 yr Author Member That article sounds pretty convincing...I like the sound of it. I think I will watch.
