Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

New RHOBH promo looks... interesting. There's real-life drama to be had in Kyle/Mo and Dorit/PK, while the rest is fun fluff.

I always feel kinda bad for the newbies whenever Housewives/M2M do those "sisterhood bonded for life" schmaltz because most of the time, the newbie is a one-and-done and never thought of again (I don't think an Anne-Marie or Joyce or Carlton or Diana are ever thought of by this group once they're gone from the show).

Meanwhile the official "friends of" are Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly, whom I love. I'm wondering if Jennifer will be the Greek chorus of the group, pointing out the ridiculousness of it all.

Yeah, she keeps withering away...

SLC

'Don't you dare! Don't you dare.' That's right, Mary!!! GO, MARY, GO!!! GET HER ASS!!! LOL!!!

Where do I even begin with this episode? lol. It was really good. Like the show itself, the episode started slow. As in slow burn. We saw housewives' lives that I couldn't care less about...lol. And then we started to see housewives' lives that we actually care about. We got little bombs. And then those bombs really exploded at a Housewife's event....an tongue-in-cheek Greek Mafia party. And that was just CRAZY. And just when you thought it could not get crazier with showdowns...it just got even MORE crazy.

Heather has gotten insufferable. That weight loss and getting hype due to what happened to Monica has gone to her head. And I was happy to see that Bob and Mary comparing notes. I was excited to see that Heather has taken Little Girl's place on Mary's Drag List, and drag Mary did cuz NO ONE is cursing at her. Too big for her breeches Heather must have gotten. And then her attempt to gaslight Bob and Angie K failed and even The FOH got a dig in on her. Nice try, Wannabe.

Outside of the comedy of FriendOfHeather, the main draw was the continued drama with Little Girl vs Lisa. And while I wished Little Girl had stood up to her harder a la the First Episode this season, I guess it doesn't matter. Why? Because Lisa had a full-on meltdown, threatening Little Girl with being sued on screen (are Housewives even allowed to do that anymore?). And the drama increased involving the Husbands coming to blows? Wait WHAT???

And a To Be Continued...with no promo for next week...Yeeees a great episode.

MEREDITH. Outside of getting an apology from Little Girl and being background at Angie K's Mafia event...she was surprisingly mute.

HEATHER. GIRL, BYE!!! The level of gaslighting she tried to do not one, not two, but THREE times. Guuuuurl, your slip is showing hardcore. And like one Tamra Judge circa OC S9, when called out by everyone, Heather turned tail and ran. If she WAS Jen, at least Jen would have given us a show. Again...nice try, Wannabe.

ANGIE K. Oooooo her giving wealth with this party. She also gave a LOT of ATTRACTIVE MEN at her event.

And the fact that right after Mary dragged Heather, she came up to Heather with the quickness to go in, too?? She was in her bag this episode. And an awwww moment with her dad. Did I mention her husband is FOINE?? hehe.

LITTLE GIRL. OMG!!!! Just when I thought she was the messy one, her husband is just as messy cuz what was the reason he invited Jared to that Mafia party when he knew FriendOfHeather was there with a date? Hilarious! Meanwhile, Little Girl appeared to be getting to the truth of who was spreading the rumors. And Meredith got an apology. Still...I hope Little Girl does not back down from Lisa.

BOB. 'Can I say bullshit in your house? I know this is a House of God.' BOOOOBBBBBBB!!! lol. But I continued to love Bob/Mary together. And the fact they revealed that they have similar family backgrounds to each other was such a real moment. Meanwhile, I loved Bob gathering Heather with Angie K as a good assist. Sent Heather running to the hills.

MARY. Like I said...she's a kiki. And someone needs to keep Heather honest, and Mary is nothing, but herself with no BS. It says a lot that she can drag Heather. And then when Lisa vs Little Girl exploded, she was chatting with Heather again. And her scene with the kids after the dragging was hilarious. So was her getting FriendOfHeather's men mixed up. And to show up more real outside of her and Bob bonding, there was the scene of her with Robert Jr. I just feel so sad for her. How does she break through to her son? It's a subplot that I continue to feel invested in.

LISA. GIRL, GONE!!!! If you want to bring in your security guy, the LA police, AND the local police...DO IT!!! Some saw it as her calling Little Girl's bluff. I saw her as bluffing. If I am wrong, I will be wrong, but I feel she did it. She was just tooooo upset and overdramatic over it. She could have just been...angry. *shrugs*

Great episode. Sorry that Bravo killed some of the thunder by going ahead and releasing the end of the husband fight.

Great writeup. Meredith seems to be over the show. She seems checked out this season.

I think Mary's son is gay, and I hope her Jesus background isn't adding to his problems, because that could play a major factor in his depression.

Continuing to like Bronwyn, though I keep forgetting her name, lol. And then there's the whole Bronwyn versus Braunwyn of OC so I have to try to remember how to spell her name. Maybe "Bob" is just easier, lol.

The Britani (is that how you spell it?) soap opera love triangle was kinda funny this episode, though it's too bad there wasn't a slow build-up where we actually got to know her a bit first before the endless sobbing over the Osmond fella.

ATL:

Good grief, they're STILL filming? Is this going to end up being a hodge-podge of mess like when they shoehorned Jacqueline, Kathy, Rosie and the old gang into the ending episodes of RHONJ Season 6 with the Dunkin Donut Twins and Amber?

RHOP

I cant believe Karen is going out the way she is. She is coming across completely unlikeable and reminding me of LVP in her last season. ZERO accountability. She is full o sht and has me siding with Gizelle, who is doing an amazing job of redeeming herself without Robyn. I cant believe im saying this but I like Gizelle and cant stand Karen

I think its obvious Mia is coming for Stacey bc she was trying to get Jassi that full time position but the producers went with Stacey for the flute. Mia is really feeling herself thsi season. She had what, like 5-7 friends, when you count the actual cast members. She legit was trying to recast the show around herself.

I like Stacey and how she refuses to let these ladies play in her face. She checked Ashley last week and she neutralized Mia's attempt at hazing her. Im enjoying the energy and what she brings to the table

I liked Jacqueline in the past but she's a flop this season. She has no identity outside of being Mia's minion. The crumbling and crying when Karen checked her was giving Candiace energy

I felt the left-in scene was Production showing foreshadowing for what's to come with the first episode of this new season's very first scene-Ubah vs Brynn, because it's becoming clear that Brynn is trying to make the show pop...not unlike a certain Ex Soap Opera Star used to do on BH...until she went too far. Ubah has been clear (not to her face, but to some of the other girls and her Confessionals) that she does not like how Brynn has been acting and manipulating things...which that scene with Rebecca shows her doing. So eventually, when Brynn is called out later on, we the audience already have the information. I bet Production will even show a rollback to back it up. I still like Brynn myself, but she is definitely dancing that line that Lisa (formerly Fabulous Ice) has danced the last two seasons of SLC and we know how I feel about Lisa now when I was one of her first fans when SLC started.

Side-note...so it seems that allegedly SLC might be cutting out (or heavily editing) the Lisa vs Mary over the kids scene that has been rumored to happen later in the season. So explosive was the confrontation that it does affect the rest of the season so those Production would be scrambling for content. Personally, I suspect given how Lisa is coming across this season so far, Production is playing Favorites...but they also know Mary IS the favorite with the audience as well. So...a whole mess. But I digress.

I feel so much for your mother hearing that. I'm happy that I grew out of that with people in my workplaces. Love really does transform a person. And one thing that makes me angry sometimes is people being impatient with someone who does speak a different language and English is not their first language. I encounter so many people trying to talk to me and my quirky bubbly Gemini makes me a fast talker so I try my best to slow down and listen. People be so shy or nervous about their accents, and I let them know they sound just fine. I even have a returned guest at my job who came back because I talked to her as best I could and we were trying to find the local Koreatown and Chinatown here in San Diego. I'm looking forward to the next time I work to see if she was able to find this DVD video she was interested in since there are not a lot of DVD stores around anymore. And yes, someone who can master more than one language is most definitely not an idiot. Mad respect.

That said...I believe Brynn did say that she spoke another language...or two...herself. I just can't remember if it was in the show or during one of the videos showing off her apartments. But if anyone would understand Ubah, I would say it would be her. So I can't believe how much she's coming for her. And I'm hoping come tomorrow, she does not continue in that vein, or this whole conflict is a little bit of both parties at fault versus it being one person's fault. But...time will tell. And yeah...nothing will get me to step out of character now than someone yelling at me. It's like calling Cordelia Chase a bitca. It's an uh oh now. lol.

I'm really liking the Hampton episodes for sure. Yes!!! They come across as friends, not hating each other. And I've been enjoying all the dynamics and shifts. I mean...usually we would for sure get Erin and Sai. Jenna and Brynn. Jessel being Jessel. But there's been a nice mix going on. I'm still mentally giggling about Sai, Ubah, and Jessel at the grocery store.

And I'm happy to see that they are advertising here about the CLUELESS party this past weekend. Cuz so many people still love that movie. And will the references. I can't wait to catch them myself. And we know I'm living for Sai looking like Dionne. hehe.
